Know what you're getting.

This kit is actually Fluidmaster that hopefully fits American Standard. It is not American Standard. My kit came with a main sponge washer that looks used. It is also missing the white water supply coupling nut that is enclosed according to the instructions and in the online photos. I definitely would not buy this again.

The material molds to the shape of your toilet

I was a bit hesitant when I opened the package and the gasket was a circle yet the one I replaced seemed to be octagon. As it turned out, the material is soft enough to mold to the bowl.

Hardware for Cadet toilet bought in 2000

I had to remove the tank of my American Standard Cadete toilet to paint around. The large rubber gasket underneath the tank as well as the 2 rubber washers that are in the bottom of the tank were old. Even though no leaks, I decided to replace them to avoid future leaks. The hardware kit was perfect for this. There is another similar kit (different part number) that has a larger diameter gasket for the tank. It did not fit my older toilet. The one I purchased here did.

The smart choice. The right choice.

I bought 2 sets of knock off brand replacement kits at Lowes with 3 years and my toilet again started leaking. I finally wised up and bought the proper kit off Amazon. Guess what???? Yeah thats right it fixed my leak and I bet I'll get another 10 years out of my toilet. I was so surprised at how well made everything was in this kit, the bolts were actually heavy. Compared to the cheap kit from box stores this is a lamborghini. Hope this helped your decision. Happy Flushing!

Works exactly correct with American Standard toilets.

Highly recommend this specific kit for American Standard toilets. This kit has the EXACT seal kit fitment and clearances as the manufacturer intended. USE THIS ONE instead of the universal kits.

Great Original replacement

Fit well and stopped the leak immediately. If your toilet is American Standard and the original ones were like these, don't hesitate and get these. I tried two different generic brands from Hdepot but the leak persisted.
