Water tastes neutral and easy to install
This kit comes with mounting clips for attaching the filter on top of the final stage filter on your APEC RO system. It seems to work well, with no leaks (yet). The water tastes good to me - and my partner, who is much more fussy than me. The replacement filters aren’t particularly cheap though.

Easy install. Medium performance. High price.
I added this to the RO-HI (5 filter) system. It was very easy to install. It did not increase the pH as much as I expected. It raised the pH from about 5 to 6. I was expecting closer to 7. Given that this filter should be replaced every 6 months, I think the cost is a bit high. $25-30 would be about right.

Be sure to push the hose in hard or it will leak
The system was super easy to install but we did have trouble with this filter leaking. Turns out the 3/8” tube just has to be pushed in with more force. Once we learned that, we were good to go. The water tastes great but we haven’t yet tested the pH to see how much of a difference this filter makes.

No change to the PH
I was hopeful for this product, unfortunately there was no change in the pH. Added the filter as the final stage in my RO system. The pH still shows 6 with no noticeable change in taste. Wondering if I received a dud. Installation otherwise was a breeze.

A recommended buy!
I added this filter to my existing RO system. To begin with, it was quite easy to install. The directions are pretty accurate. Once that was taken care of we started using the upgraded filtration system almost immediately. I have been using this for close to a month now and have no complaints :)

As Described, Easy to Install
Easy to install. Adds about 45ppm to my RO water. Make sure you leave your faucet running for a couple of minutes or until water becomes clear (not milky).

It was a breeze to install and the water taste is so much better. The coffee also tastes better.

Decent filter.
Adds just the right amount of ph to our drinking water. Only downside is having to buy the install kit everytime
