Great fit

I've never bought sneakers with a paper in a the box with break in instructions. As the instructions suggested, I put them on and tried the out for an hour yesterday, very nice fit. The toe box had just a little more room than the NB I usually get. All n all I am happy with them but will have to wait until the break in period is over. Right now they are a pleasant surprise. Time will tell!

I first got a pair from my foot surgeon/doctor and had never hear of the brand and was reluctant. After trying it and wearing it; WOW!!! What a comfortable sneaker, looks great, feels great, fits great. I liked them so much I bought an extra pair and then another pair in white. The best is they do not wear out as fast as my Nike or NB. I beat the hell out of these shoes and they hold up twice as long as any other sneaker I've had. If you have problem, achy feet or had surgery or just want a good looking shoes that is Sooooo comfortable to wear and will hold up, then this is the way to go. I highly recommend them.

Good quality supportive shoes

Had to buy half size up. Shoe is very well made with excellent support. Recommended by me for older feet requiring stability. Seems to be similar to or better than men’s Aetrex shoes but these carry the name Apex. Good returns and doctor recommended

heavy and clunky

Nice shoe but the sole is so thick that they are a bit stiff and clunky. Maybe they will loosen up after they get broke in. The insole inserts were cheap and had no arch support. I had my own orthotics so that wasn't a big deal. Stitching looks Ok but the glued on sole shows cracks around leather so I don't expect them to last very long. Expected more quality for the money. Lacing was cheap and had to be replaced also.

Shoe Review

The new shoes arrived in perfect condition. I'm wearing them now and the length of the foot is perfect. Because they're an orthopedic shoe, the dome of the shoe is larger than my foot since the swelling has gone down, so the shoes flop a bit. The shoes are designed to accommodate swollen, deformed feet, so that is not the manufacturer's fault, but simply a result of the healing process.

Not Aetrex shoes !

Due to the super fast delivery, I rated excellent but be aware, the shoes are not Aetrex as the ad shows. They appear to be identical but when you take a close look, the brand is Apex, which I have no idea where is coming from. I've been wearing these shoes since my Podiatric prescribed them to me 4 years ago, and I hope they result with the same quality and benefit to my back injury than the real Aetrex, if not, it is a total ripped off.
