It swims 30 meters

It does what it says. How far it swims depends on how deep it is launched from and the angle. Fun for an hour or two on vacation then never touched again. The 5 year old liked it. The 10 year old, not so much.

Amazing water toy

I was skeptical about this initially. Thinking, how can a toy without batteries be worth buying? Took it to the pool and my son loved it. I got it to glide underwater approximately 10-12 feet! Also since you can adjust the stingrays wings, it effects its movements underwater.

Cheap fun

There is nothing crazy about this product. It’s good cheap fun for kids in the water watching it glide. That’s about it. Doesn’t do any crazy tricks. You just adjust the fins the way you want, put it under water and watch it glide. The deeper you put it, the farther it will go.

CUTE!

We started with the green one. All it does is go around in pretty tight circles. The wing adjustment does not seem to have any effect at all. Then we tried the red one. It works great! So far the only people who have played with them are my husband and myself, but hey! We thought they were pretty fun! We've got 2 grandchildren who are quite gentle and 2 that definitely are NOT. I don't have a lot of faith that they'll last all summer, but that's ok. I think I paid $13.00, so no big deal.

Fun pool toys

We were pleasantly surprised with these little toys. It is rare for something to function as well as described, but these do. My kids (and myself) have had a lot of fun playing with them in our pool. I had been looking for an interesting non-diving toy for my youngest who doesn't swim underwater yet. These are different from anything else we have found, and were an instant favorite. I witheld the final star on durability simply because we have not had them for long and I don't know how well they will last. They have held up to a week of pool play so far. Edit: these fun toys lasted about 5 weeks. The hard plastic wings all became brittle and broke on both toys on the same day. Even with th lasting less time than we would like, I was ready to repurchase because of how much my kids enjoyed them. However, we stumbled upon them in our local Dollar Tree store and we're able to purchase them for $1 each rather than the higher price here. The dollar store toys are slightly larger and the wings are attached in two places instead of one, making them seem a bit more durable. I still recommend these, but perhaps you might want to shop around to see if you can find a better price.

PRETTY COOL

I got the large underwater glider Sting Ray this week and have used it for two days and have three reactions. First, the packaging was extremely dirty and after opening, the actually stingray had fading paint and look used (it was not, it was sealed). Next, I could barely adjust the fins and the fins were super thin plastic so I was afraid of applying to much pressure and cracking them. Lastly, this was pretty cool and fun and worked great. I can't tell any difference from the fin adjustment, it just swims for 20-30 feet and makes it way to the top, whether climbing the side of the pool or shooting straight up. It works great underwater, is fun, and not difficult to use. Sometimes it just doesn't want to go the way you want it to or direction, so just turn around and it will work fine. My only complaint is it does seem a little pricey for the quality of the materials - this could easily be a $5 product especially since my was dirty and faded, but it works as advertised, is a lot of fun, and if you have a lot of kids i'm sure they will fight over who gets to use it first or chase after it to catch it first.

So Much Fun!

I am always looking for new and interesting pool toys and these definitely check those boxes! I bought them for my kids who need an influx of new pool toys to keep the pool time interesting. These were a huge winner and they played with them for hours. Definitely for older kids who can be careful with them as they are not as durable as the typical diving toys but they are so different than any other toy I have seen and so much fun!

Picture did not look like the actual package

Seller was very easy to deal with and was quick to agree to a refund. The picture made me believe the items would come in a box so the items were a little more substantial. Paying $40 I thought (and maybe I was wrong to assume) that they were 2 battery operated swimming fish or something. When I received the item the package was more like a hang on a hook kind of slim package. The package was damaged and it just looked like something you'd buy in a dollar store.
