NOT IP65
These SHOULD be a minimum IP65 water sealed for a fountain. They are not. There are two holes on the underside of light fixture that make it easy for water to get in. This is probably why everyone complains of them failing. I filled with DAP silicone. We'll see how long they last that way.

New version is bright
Had to replace my old light. This new version is alot brighter and hopefully lasts longer.

Works and looks great!
I have a drilled millstone-type granite fountain and thought this would be a nice addition. Unfortunately, the details about the light are non-existent in the description. I emailed Aquascape and they told me that the diameter is 1.5". Also, the photos of the product don't show any wiring. The light does have a very long (approx 48", maybe 60" - I didn't measure it) wire attached with Aquascape's waterproof connector. I couldn't use the Aquascape connector, so I simply cut it off and used a regular low-voltage lighting connector to add this light into my existing landscape lighting, which worked great. My only complaint would be that the LEDs emit a bluish light and I think a warmer color would be better, but that's a small complaint. There are a couple of sellers on Amazon; I ordered from TJB-INC and shipping was very fast.

Work great for a short period of time
Have yet to get more than 15 months out of these lights. On my 3rd set. If these also fail in the 12-15 month range, will look for another option. If you don't mind replacing these yearly, they do look/work great when they are working.

Lights Didn’t Last Long
Worked great for two months but then the lights started to go off one by one.

Works great
These lights worked great overall when put in the fountain. Used clear caulk to adhere in place. Would recommend using a pencil or other device to make sure you have it spraying water in direction you want it. Its really easy to get it off angle when you are putting it into the fountain.

This is a bright light. Solid design
The media could not be loaded. This light allows the water to flow through it, which helps carry the light through the water. It’s very bright No idea how long it will last.

very good
Works very well. The color of the white light is not a warm white. It has a bit of a neon look to it. Not sure what color to call it. Makes the fountain look beautiful at night.

Failed in 6 weeks
I purchased 2 of these lights to replace 2 existing lights which had lasted almost 8 years in our water feature. The new Aquascape 84008 LED lights haven't lasted even 2 months and already half the LED's are no longer working. These lights are complete garbage, stay away from them!

This item does NOT last
I am with others in the review. Purchased end of August and one LED is only remaining working. Junk. Will see if I can get support from the manufacturer but DO expect this to fail.....

Incorrect Bulb Life Span Listed in Advertisement.
The bulb life span quoted on Amazon is 40,000 hours. The bulb life quoted on the actual packaging I received is 25,000 hours. This is a significant discrepancy.
