Water clouds immediately

The minute i put this product in my fountain, the water immediately clouded and has been cloudy for 24 hours. This is a brand new fountain and clean water. I am assuming there is a chemical (ie. Chlorine, fluoride) in our normal water that is reacting to the solution but this would more than likely be the case in most cities. Fountain has no debris or other chemicals. I will update after a week when i need to add more solution. UPDATE*** added more after a week and the same results, water is cloudy and now leaving caustic residue on fountain. I am draining the fountain refilling and returning this product.

Didn’t work for me at all - try Copper Sulfate instead

I tried this for several months, increasing the dosage and the frequency to several times above the recommended dosage. Never really did much for me. The algae just keeps growing. It could be that my fountain is in full sun, thus it can’t keep up (or the sun neutralizes the chemical). I used this pump version in concert with the auto dosing system set at 2x the recommended weekly dosage (this 3x weekly dosage for 450 gallons) and still the algae kept growing. I tried both the "Clean" and the "Protect" solutions and neither had any impact. I will add that I did find something that worked extremely well and is much cheaper - Crystal Blue Copper Sulfate! It lasts a long time, is a lot less expensive, but most importantly- it works!

Amazing

Our water feature came with a bag of this stuff from the previous home owner. I got this (same brand) and refilled the bag (as it was cheaper than buying the bag). Now we have only about 32,018 birds every day bathing in our water feature, it must be this stuff but it is truly adorable, we are thrilled.
