Great for anti-fog

I was worried that the swipe meant I was going to need to swipe part way through every swim. Have done 5 swims from 45 minutes to 1:15 and no fog issue. They do leave a some suction marks around eyes for a little while but we’ll worth it for the visibility.

not for every type of face

I have a broken nose and its always pain in the neck to get the right googles which doesn't put too much pressure to midpoint between eyebrows. I have few mask type googles from Speedo, but they are about to retire and I thought that Air Bold will be a good alternative. Unfortunately didnt work for me, got tremendous pressure after 20-30 minutes of wearing it.

Disappointing

I had much higher expectations for these. I love Arena and they are a trusted brand, but these were a fail. They are extremely uncomfortable. Maybe if the nose bridge wasn’t so ridged it they might be better, but overall, my eyes were hurting and headaches ensued. They didn’t fog, but I couldn’t tolerate them for more than 500meters. I couldn’t have gotten my usual 2 miles in.

Truly standard swim goggles with nice features!

The Arena Air-Bold Swipe Swim Goggles are made of Polycarbonate (Lense material) and high-quality silicone. The goggles are very suitable for a wide range of swimmers (beginner to intermediate). The elastic bands are very comfortable with no excessive pressure on the eyes. The lenses are very clear and have a wide field of view. The anti-fogging feature can be reactivated by gently swiping the interior with fingertips which removes the need for anti-fog sprays. The innovative design of air seals is very functional in sealing the lenses while not applying too much pressure on the eyes! The nose bridge is also relatively flexible and seems to be durable (coming in different sizes). My only concern is that the goggles do not come in a protective box that I usually see on similar swimming goggles. So, you may want to order a separate box to protect your goggles from scratches and other damages. Overall, these goggles from Arena are a nice touch in terms of comfort, protection, and clarity that all combines and are offered at a decent price!

Top notch

Comfy and do a good job. No problem with steaming up either at the moment. One of the best fitting goggles on the market and comes with a variety of nose pieces to get the correct distance between the eyes.

Schwache Anti-Fog-Beschichtung

Bei einer Brille sind mir zwei Dinge wichtig: 1. Die Passform: In meinem Fall erzeugt die Brille einen halbmondförmigen Abdruck rund um die Nase. Das fühlt sich insgesamt unangenehmer an als die Arena Cobra, obwohl die Air-bold als komfortabler beworben wird. Meiner Meinung nach liegt dies auch an dem Kopfband. Die Cobra hat zwei Laschen, die Air-bold nur eine. Dadurch finde ich die Cobra irgendwie bequemer, was natürlich absolut individuell ist. Das Kopfband empfand ich als Erwachsener auch als relativ kurz. Ich musste es bis zum Anschlag erweitern. 2. Der Beschlagschutz: Hier versagt die Air-Bold leider. während ein Auge eine gute Sicht behält, beschlägt das andere Auge leider. Es bildet sich kein klassischer Nebel auf dem Glas. Viel mehr ist es so, als würde die anti-Fog-Schicht "aufquellen". Der Nebel ist zwar transparent, dafür wirkt das Glas dann als wäre Schleim drauf. Eigentlich hatte ich die selbe Beschichtung wie bei der Cobra swipe erwartet. Für Hallenbäder ist das transparente Glas der Air-Bold natürlich top geeignet.

Gute Brille mit gewissen Einschränkungen

Ich habe mir diese Brille in der Hoffnung gekauft, weniger Druckschmerzen als mit meiner bisherigen Aquashere Kaiman bei langen Schwimmeinheiten zu bekommen. Leider verlagerten sich die Druckprobleme nun von außen nach innen Richtung Nase. Dies liegt an dem recht schmalen Nasensteg, der sich zwar austauschen lässt, aber im Lieferumfang ist nur ein identischer und ein etwas schmalerer. Ansonsten ist die Brille gut verarbeite, nahezu beschlagsfrei und hat eine verzerrungsfreie Sicht, die sich aber auf den Sichtbereich direkt nach vorne beschränkt. Ich kann die Brille daher für Personen mit eher kleinem Kopf/Gesicht empfehlen und dies nur für Becken-Schwimmen (kein Freiwasser).

Sono un agonista master e ho indossato decine di occhialini diversi ma questi sono insuperabili ! A distanza di un anno posso confermare la qualità e la resistenza all'uso. Tralaltro si possono smontare e rimontare per effettuare lavaggi approfonditi. Aderiscono bene al volto, si possono regolare con estrema facilità e non solcano la pelle !
