Order a full size smaller

I've owned about 6 pairs of these boots for horseback riding and yard work. They don't track dirt into the house which is a huge plus. I've learned to order a full size smaller in both this boot and the summer weight All Terrain from Ariat. I have long thin feet with low arches and there is room in front of my toes and over my arch for the orthotic even when I order a full size smaller. They don't give great grip for hiking and the ankle support is only moderate. Therefore, I have separate Merrell hiking boots for that activity. They are also not that weatherproof unless you maintain the leather with leather conditioner and Snow Seal. They last about 10 years with proper upkeep and regular use.

3rd pair! Love them!

I work in my boots all day every day as a camp host. I'm 55 years old and rely on them to protect my feet from cactus, and need them to give me support. They are so comfortable. I have added elastic laces, since I put them on and off several times a day. They hold up really well and when they wear out, after about a year, I just order another pair. This time I got the waterproof one, but it 'hasn't rained yet, so I don't know if they are really waterproof. They look good, feel good and they are very durable.

Very comfortable hiking boots

These boots are very comfortable out of the box. Perfect for long hikes. This is her second pair, the first pair is still going strong after 4 years.

Fit like they are made for me!

These boots are perfect in every way. They feel good. I wore them for a 3 mile hike the day after receiving them and they felt great. There is no need to break them in before going for a good hike.

Large for stated size

I have used Ariats for years. Per the site, it was suggested I buy I size 7. Which is my size. But. Ariats run large, and I did not listen to myself. So, now had to send the 7s back and order the usual 6.5w. They were too big even with an orthotic. The shoe itself, is well made. Just for me, not true to size. 6.5 w came. Perfect fit.

Comfy, true to size, great boot!

Finally! A nice leather boot that fits true to size! Looks like they will last for years. Nice look and very very comfy sole with a good arch support. I have problem feet and have been looking for a long time for a comfortable work boot for the garden and I’m so happy with them. They should be very good for hiking. I have a medium width foot, but with bunion problems and these boots are not constricting in that area. I wear a size 9 shoe, but ordered 9 1/2 to allow for thicker socks and they fit perfectly. Worth every penny!

J'ai toujours adoré les produits Ariat, mais cette fois-ci, je suis déçue, les bottes ne sont plus confortables comme elle était avant, j'ai mal aux pieds, la semelle ariat à l'époque était si confortable, ce n'est plus le cas, vraiment déçue
