surprisingly sort break-in period. Comfy boots

Bought these for motorcycle riding and for working outdoors. They are waterproof and protective. For colder days, wool socks are called for. All day wear is OK in these. You definitely know you are wearing heavy footwear, but the fit is really dependable and my feet are happy at the end of the day.

Will not stay waterproof!!!

Ariat has a 12 month warranty. These are advertised as a waterproof boot. They stayed waterproof for less than 6 months. Neither Western Workwear nor Ariat will stand behind them. I will now move on to a brand of boot that will stand behind their product. Its really too bad because they were comfortable but when I buy a pair of waterproof boots I expect them to stay waterproof at least for the warranty period. I have no problem buying a new pair of work boots once a year but not every 6 months.
