Not the best Ariat boot

Straight out the box they seem much smaller than every other 10.5 Ariat boot I've owned (4th or 5th different pair)... very slim boot, hard to get on at 1st, tight on the foot but should break in well. Absolutely NO ankle support, odd for a hiking boot but I'll be wearing them in a shop and upper is a lot thinner then previous ariat slip ons... it's ariat, so it should still be a good boot, but definitely a bit disappointed with this one. I'd suggest ordering a half size up especially if you wear thick or double socks.

Order 2 to 3 sizes above your usual size

Ariat came out with these when Twisted X had a similar model and sales were golden. The Twisted X was as comfortable as slippers but might last 6 months at the most. The Ariat model, if you figured out the sizing, was not as comfortable but had some of the quality of a Ariat boot. The light weight is a delight and I just ordered another pair and added one more size up for heavier socks, for the snow and they are performing well. I. Might mention that the boot shaft is like wrapping your shin in a paper bag. No structure but water resistant.

Almost returned because couldn’t get them on. Wish I would have ordered 1/2 size bigger

First try on was VERY difficult. Had to try several times before getting them on. Ordered 11.5 (size I wear in tennis shoes) and probably could have done a 12. But the tighter fit will be better for support if they don’t hurt my feet in the long run. Will update later. They are nice looking and aren’t heavy.

Comfortale and water proof

Great Boots. Very supportive and comfortable. I am on my feet for hours outside and inside and I love the terrain line of Ariat boots and owned them for 15yrs+. These pull on modified cowboy style have worked so well for working on farm, in and out of terrains and wet conditions and rinse off easily. Also the I have a very wide, high arched foot and bought the 8.5 extra wide and have room for an arch support and socks and toes! Love these!

Very small but nice boots.

I like the boots but had to order a full size over my normal as well as wider. Returned the first pair and ordered a second. I have several Ariat boots all in size 10D. To get good fit i had to order size 11E.

Extreme Comfort and Walkability

I love these boots. Over the years I have had 4 pairs. Every year I get a new pair for wearing "places" and keep my old pair to wear in the field training the dogs, in the barn and at field trials. I can walk all day in them, which is saying a lot because I am old and overweight. From the moment you get them out of the box they are extremely comfortable and no break in required.
