Works like a charm!

We needed to install a chandelier in a closet, but did not want to have to open up the ceiling to add a junction box plus deal with wiring and hiring a electrician right now is the pits plus ridiculously expensive. This easily installed in 10 minutes or less. I paired it with a remote switch with a plug-in receiver and it works perfect like a normal wired fixture. I would recommend this item.

No Instructions?

I’ve been trying to convert a little hard-wired chandelier into a plugin so this seemed perfect. I ended up using the cord but that’s all- and I had to find directions online because there were no instructions with the adapter. It seems like that should be really important because you’re dealing with electricity! The ceiling mount is super cheap and since there are no directions I couldn’t use it anyway. I tried contacting the number listed for support but it wasn’t working. ????‍♀️ I really could have bought a little switch and extension cord instead which would have saved me money but I ended up just using the cord. The main thing I had a question about was what do I do with the ground wire on my chandelier? I ended up taping it off but I’m not sure that’s safe. If anyone has suggestions please let me know!

Impossible to get flush to ceiling.

While I was able to use the cord that came with this product for what I needed, the method that they want you to use to install the cover onto the ceiling is completely useless and impossible to get it flush. I ended up drilling a hole in the cover that came with my lamp. All in all it was incredibly time consuming and very frustrating.

My kit was missing part

I bought this kit and am unfortunately unable to use the ceiling mount as it came missing the piece that screws into the hook triangle piece to hang from the ceiling. I am able to still use the wires to convert but had to use a different ceiling mount that I had to make my own hole to feed the wire through. If not for the missing part it would have been a perfect all in one solution.

Easy for a Newbie!

Very affordable option for a old home instead of paying thousands to add a light box, I have never done anything like this it was really easy the hardest part of assembly was stripping the wires of the chandelier definitely recommend purchasing wire strippers, however I am not a fan of the hanging process instructions where really vague about that part the triangle bolt is really hard to get on the hook I had to MacGyver it with some zip ties
