Works well, subtle freshness for your home.

Note this is an absorbant type freshener. Think baking soda or activated charcoal. In fact the little black specks that cling to the seal are charcoal. This is for subtle all day freshness. For sudden strong smells (cooking , baby or cat did their business) I recommend an essential oil blend spray. But this gives underlying home smell. You know when you walk into a house and it just smells clean and cozy but you wouldn't be able to name the scent. Perfect for those who don't want anything overpowering. Would definitely buy again. Highly recommend for house staging for realtors and house selling. For that "I like this house" reaction.

Smells like wet soil

As others have mentioned, there are lots of black spots on top when you first unwrap it, and it's wet. What comes to mind is some wet soil on the side of a small planter after watering it. Unfortunately it also smells like that... the green apple smell was gone in a week, and it didn't absorb any of the previous smell in the car either.

Smells great but product isn’t as shown

The green apple & basil smells wonderful! However, the item wasn’t as advertised. The plastic cover doesn’t have the part where you can adjust the intensity of the smell. It only has slits and isn’t adjustable so I’m a bit disappointed and am wondering why it’s like this. Is it missing a part or something?

Good design idea - but can’t smell anything

Honestly - after having this for a few weeks, I barely notice the difference in the scent of the washroom I put it in. It’s not exactly the cheapest - I would have preferred a product that’s got a more pronounced smell.
