These are a stiff rubber/plastic. Hold a bit too securely.

They are identical in shape and size of my original light pole storage clips. However they are quite a bit stiffer. It is a challenge to remove and install the pole. The originals that came with my boat are more rubberized and easier to install and remove the pole. I replaced them because I was moving locations and I figured it was a good time to get some new ones.

Yes they are Rubber and they work great!

These are perfect! Yes they are a rubber material don’t listen to the reviews that say they are plastic they are not. No they don’t come with mounting hardware, but it would be stupid for them to ship with hardware when every costumer will have a different mounting application. For example I used through bolts and a lock nut for one location and screws for another. No the hardware will not pull through the rubber, whoever had that happen was using too small of a diameter screw/bolt. The key to mounting it since it is rubber is using hardware that almost seems too big but since it’s rubber you can force it down the tube on the one side and through the hole for a very snug fit since it does stretch. Simple effective product I’m glad I purchased these.

Perfect to hold my Boat Light Pole When not in Use

Installed this on my 16' fishing boat to hold my light pole when not in use-keeps it from getting damaged and out of the was until required at night. Good product + it does what it should do. Light pole is quite secure.

It works for the price

The clips works on a Shoreline Marine SL23938-X stern light. It's in-expense and clips well. Don't know the durability, but it feels acceptable. The only negative, it doesn't come with screws,

The mounting screws went right through. I hope they last

It didn't come with screws so I used the one that was in my old factory mounts. The screws I used had a slight taper to the head and while tightening them I was able to screw them all the way through with only a screwdriver. The screw head was tight in the hole so it's not like the screw head was too small. The material for mounting should not be so soft. They were a good price but with the Attwood name, I would have thought they'd be better made.
