Fits my beloved, evil Lhasa Apso
My cruel, calculating, and inexplicably much adored Lhasa Apso Chewbacca is 14 lbs of the meanest, toughtest, and angriest animal outside of certain diabolical Disney Villians (see Scar, Shere Khan, et al.) Because she is now wanted in connection with brutal assaults on several kindhearted local groomers, I am forced to give her necessary haircuts. This muzzle is better than most. It's a size one, which is actually still a little large on her murderous face and vicious snout. The length from her beady, wrathful eyes to her nose is about an inch and a quarter. Although I inevitably passed out from fright and pain before I got an accurate measure, I think her bloodthirsty yet adorable snout is about 6.5 inches in circumference. I think the reason the size one is big is because her bitter, vengeful, cute as a button little face is so short. Once I tightened the straps enough, all she could do was whisper malicious threats and yell that I'm not her real mom. I feel that if I was to leave this muzzle on for a long time, it might irritate her skin through her fur, so I wouldn't do that, as wise as that may be. I'll only use this for protection during her life threatening (for me) haircuts. For 99.9% of dogs, positive reinforcement training, treats, and lots of patience is going to work better than any muzzle. But 99.9% of dogs aren't as tenaciously vindictive as Chebacculon, Destroyer of Worlds, as she prefers to be addressed. This muzzle seems to stay on better than most others during her epic temper tantrums but also allows her to open her mouth and breathe which 8 begrudgingly admit is probably best for her.

As good as it gets for tiny dogs and cage muzzles
The media could not be loaded. This is my 9-10 lbs mutt and most muzzles for dogs his size are designed to hold the dogs mouth shut to prevent biting, eating trash, AND BARKING. I find that very cruel. As you can see he’s had a muzzle on before and doesn’t mind it. It took me most of the evening to just fiddle with the straps, reform it, watch him, see a problem, and fiddle again. When they say you can reshape it they don’t mean remake. You can round it out but not shorten or flatten it. They basically mean you can correct the warping the box and shipping does as far as I can tell. I put a treat in his bowl and encouraged him in order to show him that he can drink but I worry that it pokes his eyes in general. It’s definitely something to be worn during supervision only, like all muzzles. He doesn’t try to take it off and if he did it would be easy for him. Especially without combining it with a traditional collar, which he doesn’t have. I think that’s an important point for small dog owners. It can work but the thing about muzzling is that if your dog is trying to take it off you need to either do more (slower) training or figure out why it’s bothering them. I’ve done extensive research (I’m like that) and I would probably have to spend almost $200 on a 3D printed muzzle for one that actually fits him. Tiny dogs get no respect.

So far, so good
Ordered a 1 & 2 because I wasn’t sure of size. She is a schnauzer mix and measured 2in x 10in. The 1 was too small. 2 fits perfectly. A bit disappointed that it didn’t have metal clip on top which would be easier to slip on compare to the plastic clip inside that it came with. Many reviews mention this. You should really update picture so people can see what they are actually getting. That is reason for 4 stars. Took about 3 days of introducing before she wears it calmly now. I wanted to update that after a few days we realized the 2 was rubbing on the top of her nose and she couldn't open her mouth enough to pant. I would go up a size from what your measurements are.

Good quality, just too small
This muzzle seems to be of good quality, and I really like the color, it was just too small for my dog. For reference, she is a 60ish pound pit bull mix. Her measurements fell between size 3&4 so I purchased both. I liked that this size 3 (pictured) didn’t get too close to her eyes, but her nose is nearly touching the front and I couldn’t get it to stretch out enough at the sides. Everything about the size 3 is perfect, the straps, where is sits on her muzzle, but the muzzle itself is too small. The size 4 seems too big, I have to tighten up the straps so much and there is still a lot of give to it. I am sure she would get it off if she wanted. So, for now the size 4 will have to do, but I will continue to look for something that fits her better.

Best muzzle ever for feisty dogs
i’ve had difficulty with my dogs temper at the groomers & vets office because of his sensitive paws & dislike of being touched on his face. he’s used the traditional mouth muzzle but it’s always made him uncomfortable. so i decided to research and found this one! i’ve been training him to enjoy it on days outside and around friends and family and he’s really gotten comfortable with it. he can still drink water & have wet food with it on, so it’s not limiting him whatsoever. i also enjoy that he’s not restrained anymore, he can still breathe & move his mouth comfortably. it also matches his lovely coat !

Kind and gentle but does the job
I have 5 of these muzzles in various sizes. Our dogs don't play well with others so for everyone's safety we use these when in a group setting. They can drink , pant, eat, bark....but no biting. You can adjust the fit using the straps etc. And you can wash them so they aren't stinky.

WAS MINE A FAKE?
I ordered a Baskerville Ultra because it has an open nose style but this did not have an open nose, seemed smaller, did not have the trademark Ultra written on the muzzle like the one in the photo and straps were cheap imitation, not like photo, very cheap, like a fake. Have written through Amazon to seller but no reply yet. This is too cheap to risk using. Cannot understand why there are so many good reviews, am puzzled!

Hard and rubs
This muzzle rubs my dogs nose. He’s a fine haired breed and it’s very hard. I paid through the nose to get a brown one when black is a harsh unfriendly colour. It’s bad enough wearing a muzzle without making the dog look worse. I wish there was something rather more suitable to meet the need. Not all dogs are savage but need a more gentle item to deal with a safety issue.

Didn't fit
I had purchased these before in black and decided to go for tan as it would blend in with my dogs coat however the sizing is very different from the black muzzle. It was too small for my dog unfortunately and the shape is a bit different too.

Maravilhosa!
The media could not be loaded. A focinheira ficou perfeita, ela pode respirar normalmente, beber água e receber petiscos. Em apenas um dia ela já se acostumou ao uso, sendo que tentou tirar apenas uma vez durante o primeiro passeio utilizando. É importante apresentar o item ao cão, e assimilar a algo positivo, para que ele não tenha trauma ou medo quando for necessário utilizar. Creio que é extremamente confortável, tendo em vista que ela não resiste nada ao utilizar.
