OMG buy it!

I don't often write product reviews but I felt compelled to review this because I am so thrilled with this purchase. My 14mo son is obsessed with phones and is constantly pulling our phones away and pulling himself up to anywhere there might be a phone. The constant crying when we took our phones away prompted us to get him a toy phone. The added set of keys was just a plus for us, not the main reason for purchase. I cannot put words to the absolute joy on his face and the happy dance in a circle he gave when we gave him this. That experience alone would make this purchase worth it, even if it would have broken right away (It didn't). The sounds are realistic and cute, but no stupid music or songs teaching ABC or counting, etc like most toy phones out there we could find. As some other reviewers mentioned, there is no on/off switch or volume control, which we would have liked, but so far we are not finding that too bad. It is not extremely loud. I was worried the antenna would be delicate and pose a choking hazard, as one reviewer posted, but it looks pretty sturdy. If it comes loose, I will be sure to update this review, as that would definitely be a hazard. My son can be a bit hard on his toys and he already banged this around quite a bit and it seems to be holding up well so far. The realistic metal keys on the key ring are a really cool touch. I don't think he would go for something too toy-like. If you have a phone-obsessed child like my son, I would recommend making sure to act as though you are using it sometimes to have a conversation, as that gets my son really into it. You might also want to take it away sometimes and put it in sight but out of reach, as doing that made my son much more into it.

Very Durable

Had to buy 2, they was so well made I had to get another one for my friend daughter as well as my first grandson. This will last forever when taken care of.

So fun! But…

Such fun toys… HOWEVER, I hate how the phone doesn’t have an off switch on the back. Sometimes it’ll just go off in the toy box. It’s loud and annoying. But for the price they are a good value and most realistic.

The keys seem almost real!

Love how the keys actually jingle like real keys, my baby loves to play with them instead of ours & now we don’t have to worry she will lose our own keys. Love the realistic sounds and music. On the phone you can actually silence the music as well.

The phone is great, keys are NOT

My son really enjoys these items. He was 6 months old when I got them and 8 months now and still loves them. The phone is the best, since he always wants my phone i pretend that I'm talking on this and he will grab it away so fast to hold up to his face. Some of the noises make him laugh which of course makes me happy. The keys he also really likes, but I hate them. The keys fell like real metal and they're heavy, so I get nervous when he's constantly chewing on the metal part. I know I wouldn't want to chew on metal so I have no idea why he does. Weird baby. I get over that if it helps... but the noises on the keys are sooo incredibly bad and cheap sounding. Exact opposite of the phone. The buttons are supposed to be like a garage door opener, but they are so loud and grainy that it hurts my ears and makes me cringe. I wish there was an on and off switch for the keys so he could play with them and not kill my ear drums, but there isn't.

Perfect gift for a 1 year old!

My daughter got this for Christmas and she loves pretending to talk on the phone. I also like that the keys are not made of plastic so they have a more realistic look to them. (For kids, anyway.)

Love this phone

The media could not be loaded. I dislike it isn’t a volume control but love the phone in general and would love to purchase another maybe for girls or different customs.

Toddler likes it

Kids toys can be so expensive these days, but this was a great price for two items. Got this for my 18 month old for Christmas and wrapped them separately. He doesn't play with the keys much but he likes to hit the buttons on the phone and pretends to talk on it and will put it to our ears to talk into too. Great for pretend play. I was actually a bit surprised he knew it was a phone right away since we only have cellphones in the house lol. The sounds can get annoying after a while but if it's keeping him entertained I can't really complain. I never fully trust toys with batteries so I put tape over the battery part for extra measure.

My daughter loves it. Awesome gift

My daughter loves keys so we bought her this set. I wanted something safe but also realistic, now hers keys sound like ours. Phone and keys - great quality of material, no sharp parts, clear nice sounds. After couple weeks my wife accidentally washed the keys, surprisingly light is still working.

Chunky enough yet durable for an1 year old to play with, throw around etc

So far so good! Keys are actually metal which helps with the fact that my 1 year old doesn’t realise they’re not MY car keys! He has his own set of “eees” which he loves playing with and always wants to phone nana on his mobile now too! Happy boy = happy mummy

Fun toy

I bought these a gift for my daughter who's 9 months. The phone is great, and the keys are too. The only thing I would caution is that the key part is metal. My daughter likes to put them in her mouth, and we are constantly taking them out.
