High Quality Waterproof Cover

This product arrived on time, well packaged, and undamaged. There isn't too much you can say about these covers. They are well made. They are easy to install. They do the job they are designed to do. To me, that's high praise for any product. I've used this brand of waterproof cover for some years and have always been happy with them. I definitely recommend them.

Great for wet areas

These boxes are sturdy and protect your plugs. The only complaint is that the flaps won't stay up on their own which makes getting then installed a tad annoying.

Fits on the outlet well

While the cover fits well, it was hard to install because the lids are so tight that they kept snapping shut when I was screwing it on. The spring popped out; it was hard to reinstall without breaking the plastic. Once it's done, it's fine, though. I would buy it again.

Has a few issues

Arrived promptly and my first issue is installation because of my 2nd issue. I had problems with the screw that came with it so I used my old screw. The covers are spring loaded and cannot be locked in the open position (my 2nd issue) like my old ones. Of course the covers are over the screw so you are fighting against the springs to keep the covers open to access the screw. For a smooth installation you need 3 hands. It will also help if you use both your hands to insert the electrical plug. One to hold the cover open and the other to insert the plug. My old one could be locked in the open position so made it much easier to insert a plug using only 1 hand. Finally the cover does not open 90 degrees. It is a few degrees less thus there may also be a problem inserting a large ended extension cord.

Excellent

This is a very nice, solid cover and it is easy to install. If I needed another one, I would buy the same product without any hesitation. Still waiting to experience its performance under rain/winter.

Solid metal cover

This cover is metal, not plastic. It is very heavy, fits perfectly. Exactly what I needed to replace my broken plastic cover.

Great weatherproof cover for traditional duplex receptacles. Love that it is metal and has spring loaded doors.
