It Fits The Old Eljer Toilet

One of the toilets in our house is an old Eljer with the "squard off" front edge. Toilet seats that match the contour are hard to find IMHO. This one fits perfectly, looks good (for a toilet) and appears to be well made. It was a very easy install as well. I'm satisfied.

The item is incorrectly listed. The seat is not round. It looks horrible installed.

The quality is excellent, the fit is incorrect. Do not buy if you need round.

we had a terrible time trying to find a replacement seat for the lowboy toilet we have in our home. took a chance on this one. it fit perfectly and is very sturdy. its great to be able to purchase a seat instead of a whole new toilet when it is still in good working order. will purchase again.

Fits my odd-shaped 1980's toilet with square-ish front

The instructions were missing from the package, so I had to call Bemis customer service. The agent was very helpful and explained the details about the which end goes up for the wing nuts. It's a bit tricky holding the wing nut still with one hand while you are turning the bolt with the screw driver in the other hand, but it didn't take that long. The results were fine. I recommend this product.

Perfect match to the original!!!

So happy Amazon's search was good enough to find this seat, have been looking for years, KUDOS to Amazon!!! Even though the seat is plastic, it is very comfortable, very sturdy, the reason the old one had to be replaced was because it had yellowed and looked terrible, I'm guessing this will do the same over time, but maybe not, probably will have to replace the toilet by that time.

The toilet seat, in my main bathroom cracked after many years. I went to all of the big hardware stores & couldn’t find the exact one, I was looking for. I found this on Amazon & it is an exact fit & was super easy to install.

Finally found a replacement seat!

I have been looking for a replacement toilet seat for my round, square front Eljer toilet for quite some time as the original was peeling. I decided to pay a little extra for this Bemis as compared to the cheaper brand one, and I am quite happy with it. It's heavier duty than the original and feels very solid. Colour matches almost perfectly with white porcelain. One small gripe is that they didn't file two small casting tabs flush, but no biggie - I will Dremel them off.

Fits Eljer Emlem toilet perfectly

Looked for a long time to find a toilet seat to replace the seat on our Eljer Emblem toilet. It's a strange bowl shape and does not fit a normal round seat, and is too short for an elongated seat. This Bemis seat is perfect and looks to be much better made than the original seat from Eljer (which had some sort of coating on it that peeled and discolored). We bought one to check the fit, then replaced the seats on all the old Eljer toilets. Very happy.
