Headboard is not functional
It looks nice but the headboard is a flawed design. It needs to be as low as possible or else there is a huge gap that will swallow all pillows. And when it is as low as possible, it squeaks terribly loud with the slightest movement. I had to take the headboard off completely because we have a young baby in our room and it was waking her up. The platform is nice besides that but I paid for a headboard that isn’t getting used.

Gorgeous, good quality, easy to assemble
I've never seen a thing so thoughtfully well-packaged. Even the hardware was packaged nicely. The instructions were simple and even unnecessary; all you need to do is screw the legs on. In a world full of flat pack furniture, this was a happy surprise. The quality is lovely, even with a few little things that no one but a woodworker (i.e., me) would notice. I ordered both colors. The lighter color is stunning, but the darker one better matched my decor. The one other reviewer who posted said she had some trouble with the drawer and thusly gave this piece a very low rating. I took pictures of the wooden piece you can move out of the way if you'd like your drawer to open completely.

Good bedframe for it's price but need patients
The bad 1. The instructions are almost useless. They're so vague and all cluttered on one side of a piece of paper. Prepare to waste a lot of time figuring it out, but once I get about 70% done putting it together it's smooth sailing. 2. It doesn't come with spare parts. My kit was open and all the rings fell out and was missing about 7 of them. Luckily I had spares from the last bedframe I bought. 3. On certain parts of the frame it didnt screw in properly or at all. I had to force it in or I used an extra piece from a previous bedframe. The good 1. Besides the toolkit being broken open the packaging is good 2. The bed looks good for it's price and the color is great. Etc. I would recommend laying out the wood pieces out in the open for a day or so. I noticed it had a strong smell after I put it together, might of been the stainer. I would recommend putting on the headboard last after you put your mattress on it so you know high to set it.

Very nice bed
I like the look a lot! My wife and I were going for a mid-century modern feel, and this fit the bill. This bed is in our guest bedroom, so it won't get consistent use. For our purposes this is very good. If it was being used daily, I may have concerns about durability, but time will tell. As for assembly: really rather simple to put together, though, pay attention, some of the parts are labeled as the same thing but have slight differences. This could have been me not paying attention though... As another reviewer suggested, I put the headboard on after I had the frame completely assembled and the mattress on so I could get the height of the headboard right. Would I recommend for a guest room? Absolutely! Would I recommend for a primary bed? Time will tell, I don't know yet

Very well made bed frame
I opened the carton, and all the parts were wrapped and labeled. The installation guide was graphic, using the numbered parts two of us assembled the bed frame without any errors. Hint: parts 7 and 8 ( the legs) have a set with a hole that goes on the foot of the bed and a set without holes that goes on the head of the bed. The hex tool with bolts worked well to stabilize the frame. The design of the bed slats with dowels and Velcro is genius. We got the king size and put a 12 inch stearns and foster mattress on the frame with no trouble. Very happy with this purchase.

Looks nice, but beware the hardware.
Pro: Minus the headboard support, looks exactly like the photos. Seems sturdy, no creaking or groaning with two people + box spring + dense mattress. Finish is consistent/higher quality, even if it's veneer over high density MDF. Not terrible for the price. Cons: The hardware, the integral nuts/metal housing for bolts is not up to snuff. Be ready to swap bolts out after screwing them in as the included ones will be stripped in all the wrong places. Unsure if I got a bad unit or if this is indicative of poorly finished threading/metallurgy inside the frame. The piece that holds the headboard up isn't wood, it's brown painted metal. All other metal is hidden. Slats are 3" apart, you will need a boxpring to avoid damage to mattress coils. Arrived quickly via prime, box was big but not unmanageable. Hardware needs to be sourced/finished better, flat out. Took a few of my spare bolts to be able to assemble as the included ones were stripped of their threading.

Exactly what the reviews stated, however one boardel was scratched and a couple of the screws wouldn't tighten; they were stripped.
