LEAKS

Started to leak after 1 month occasional use in personal garage. Only leaks when a tool is plugged in. Waste of money thanks China.

Well made and should last.

Needed an air chuck for the end of a new hose and decided to go with the same brand as my brad nailer. Says it will take three types of fittings and I have wet to find one that won't work. NO air leakage.

Heavy duty coupler

If you are a savvy Amazon shopper you are most likely on the fence between this and the Milton coupler, as both universal couplers are around the same price. However the Bostitch has 6 ball bearings versus 3 for the Milton so it's a no brainer. This coupler seems to have a pretty decent brass plating. It's an issue because the cheaper couplers have corrosion problems with the thin plating. My only complaint with this coupler is the weight! I am using it on a 1/4" hose with aluminum fittings and it really weighs down the hose at the ends. Not sure why there is such a massive hex section that is almost 2" long. Do you really need that much surface area for a wrench? However you certainly get your money's worth of metal for the price. I really like how male fittings snap in with only 1/4" of play. On the Coilhose universal couplers I have been using you need to pull back a collar, slide the fitting in, and push the collar back up to lock in the fitting, and the couplers are 3X the price of this one.

Perfect for connecting to all types!

Never get in a situation where you can’t connect the air hose, no ,after what type fitting it has! This universal coupler does the work no matter if you are automotive, industrial, or alien*. Get er done! *not certified for space travel

Works great, no leaks. Takes some getting used to.

The biggest difference I saw using this was when you detach a tool, the pull down ring stays pulled. You then push in your next tool and it snaps forward. This is kind of nice since you don't have to pull the ring down again, so it's one less thing you have to do with your hand. So far no leaks and it's fitting every type of 1/4" connection I've thrown at it. I will be buying the 3/8" to 1/4" version for my larger hoses, hopefully it works just as well and gives even better flow.

Installed the in addition to the onboard air system on my truck. It stiffens up a bit quicker than the one it replaced. So far, a little penetrating oil every now and then keeps it working pretty freely. So far, I have never had it fail to couple to a hose, it just takes a bit more effort when it starts to need some oil. It is also worth noting that it is exposed to all the road spray, as it is mounted under the rear bumper.

Perfect!

This is the best quality and easiest to use coupler I have ever used. Easy to connect with no need to pull back the housing on the coupler when you are connecting. Just simply push and it connects. It is also a universal coupler which means it works with all the different types of plugs I have. I like it so much that I bought more and replaced the couplers on my compressor and on all of my compressor hoses.

Used it once. It jammed and wouldn't work again. Total piece of garbage. And for whatever reason, I can't return it, even though I've only had it for a couple weeks, so I'm out the money for this trash. Do not buy. Go to your local hardware or automotive store and buy a real one.

Worked great at first.

Worked great for about 3 months, then started leaking around the collar and where the fitting goes in. Got progressively worse to the point I can't use it
