Better than Mr Coffee

Years ago Mr Coffee had a brew basket you could let the tea steep in. Then they changed. We’ve had the new brew system and when the pitcher broke we wanted something we could make stronger tea in. The Brentwood is amazing. The water gets hot, which is essential for black tea. The way the drain is made it allows you to set the strength. Hope this last for the money. Don’t open the top while it’s still hot. The plastic is thin and I can see why some have had issue with the lid warping. Let the units cool before you open the lid to dump the old tea bags.

Thought I'd give it a shot

I wasnt too sure about getting it cause it wasn't like my old one butt this one is pretty and works just like my other one now let's see hiw long it lasts had my last one for like 5 years and I used it everyday

Works great and saves the Keurig from overuse

My wife used to make her ice tea with numerous cycles of the Keurig with hot water over tea bags in a large measuring cup. With this brewer she runs two family size tea bags in the hopper and 3 cycles of the hot water (no ice) thru the brewer to make 2 quarts of concentrated tea that she then puts in the fridge. Later she mixes the tea with filtered water to her likeness in a second pitcher. Saves time and tea bags. Over a year old and still going. The lid, as others posted, doesn't fit or close well but that is not a big deal, it just keeps condensation in and in my case the long coat German Shepard hair out that seems to get everywhere.

Great product

I drink ALOT of ice tea. This is a great product. Easy to clean and lots of flavor. The marks for water and ice are way off in order to get a full pitcher but once i figured out what works it was amazing.
