This has become an all purpose pan for me

Searched for a replacement for a beloved, and elderly, 4 quart sauce pan. i especially wanted the helper handle. The Breville pan is solid construction, easy to clean, and works well on my gas stove. It's also not too heavy for this senior citizen to handle, even when filled with water. I use this pan at least four times a week for various dishes, from pasta to sautes and stir fries. Very happy I made this purchase.

It's disappointing.

The exterior looks like a saucier, but the inside is more like an inverted bell. Bit difficult to stir. As a guess, the bottom half-round and the top are two different pieces welded together. There is a plate on the bottom that is too small and thin. I expected more from Breville for $84. I would really like to return it but I' not sure I can as I tried it. Depending on what you are cooking, on a gas burner, expect the sides to over-cook or burn as they are directly exposed to flame at higher heat. My expectations of induction and this pan would be "disappointment" as the plate isn't very good and induction performance is dependent on plate performance.

Great for slow cooking but heavy and not a wok

Deep dish cooking with a lid - like a convection cooker, and non-stick. It delivers in all those fronts. Very heavy - too heavy for my thin wrists, but husband loves it. Slow cooks a very fine omelet. I wouldn't treat this as a wok replacement though: the heat doesn't get up fast enough or fierce enough.

We use this pan for everything

We originally were looking for a replacement for a wok. Then when I found this pan, it looked like a better fit for what how we cooked. Now, we got rid of a couple pans and use this pan all the time. In fact, this is the go-to pan for everything for my husband. It heats evenly (we have a gas stove) and cleans up great. Nothing sticks. And I like the helper handle if we cook a lot and we fill it up.

Worked well. Good appearance.

Replaced older teflon-based nonstick that had flaked. Worked well with no sticking. Wish the handle were flat on top to allow stable spoon stand but still worked well.

Perfect Pot for multiple uses

Quality product I expect will last for many many years. Replaces several pots. Love being able to sear and place in oven to 500 degrees. Takes some getting used to as my Caphalon had glass lids. Takes a bit longer to heat up but then holds heat well. Very satisfied in this kitchen must have investment.
