Definitely a great carbonate additive

The media could not be loaded. I dose with Kalkwasser for foundational CA/CACO3 needs because I don’t like adding the extra salts required in basically every other CA/buffering tech, but my system is long-passed sustainability on ‘limewater’ alone. But I do find the Brightwell carbonate supplement easily, reliably, and safely bridges the gap.

Alkalinity/dKH Made Stable

Always been using this brand, Brightwell Aquatics. Requires the lowest dosage by volume compared to other good brands on the market as much as I know. Maintains Alkalinity stable, through an automated doser. Had to make a week’s adjustment on my tank’s requires daily dose and finally got it to stabilize. Remember that having a GFO requires more doses of this supplement since Granular Ferric Oxide lowers alkalinity, scrapped my GFO reactor so I use less Alk/dKH additive. Got a lot of macro algae to deal with the Phosphates (PO4) and other nutrients in my tanks’s System. This is the best and the only product I use for Alkalinity adjustments!

Why isn't this stuff sealed??

I've ordered the reef code A & B. Both bottles weren't sealed & leaked all over. They were double bagged so I guess it was expected to leak.

Bottle not factory sealed

The package was delivered at the end of the shipping timeline, but did arrive on time. The bottle was inside a plastic bag and the box was marked appropriately. Major disappointment to find that the bottle was not factory sealed. Once I removed the bottle from the bag, I noticed the white seal was not attached to the bottle; it was in the top.

Brightwell is a great product use nothing else but thier products for reef tank and this is a great price for thier product and last months in my 55 gallon great deal for your buck
