Excellent Brooks Brothers look, feel and quality

Brooks Brothers is one of the oldest apparel manufacturers in the USA and has a well-deserved reputation for quality of construction and materials. That same opinion applies to this polo shirt. The material and workmanship of this shirt is high quality. The shirt size letter matches with the measurement in the size chart. Having followed the measurements in the size chart, the shirt fit me perfectly. Very comfortable, very attractive, and very well-made. The only hesitation one might have is the price. Quality comes at a cost, and cost does factor into my rating at 4 stars.

Supremely soft and well made.

Brooks Brothers Cotton Striped Polo is made from very soft and comfortable cotton fabric. It feels delightful against the skin. It's also very nicely made with good attention to detail. The pattern matches on the pocket matches the short perfectly and the collar lays flat. There is an extra button sewn onto the hem. In a size medium it fits me nicely as a 5'6" and 135 pound male. It is fitted over my shoulders and chest, while looser in my waist. The sleeves are short and snug. It moves nicely, breathes well, and feels great. It is long enough for me not to worry about it riding up too much when I raise my arms. I washed it with cold water and dried it on low heat and it came out perfectly. All in all... excellent.

Fits & Feels Great - Yes, It's Brooks Brothers, But Still Seems Overpriced

This fits as expected and the fabric feels really nice, but ... even though this is Brooks Brothers, it still seems a bit overpriced. That's the only reason for the four stars. As far as the quality of the shirt, it's five stars.

Lightweight, Versatile, And Stylish

Where I live, the environment is very muggy. My winters are 80 degrees, and my summers average 95 degrees. Mentally, there's no place I would rather be. However, physically, my body tells me I should be somewhere else, as I sweat, at the drop of a hat! Therefore, my shirts must be light weight, breathable and, of course, stylish. This Brooks Brothers polo shirt meets all three. It is made of a lightweight, 100% cotton fabric, is very comfortable, and looks great. It seems well made. The stitching is solid, and the buttons are sewn tight. That is very important, to me. It tells me a lot about the company, and the person who made it. Also, the front pocket comes in handy. I can pair this versatile shirt with a nice pair of slacks, or a pair of jeans.

A classic!

I recently got my hands on the Brooks Brothers jersey striped polo shirt, and let me tell you, it's a game-changer for my weekend wardrobe. This shirt is the perfect combination of casual and cool, making it great for any weekend activity. First off, let's talk about the fabric. It's incredibly lightweight and soft, making it comfortable to wear all day long. And the stripes? They're subtle yet eye-catching, giving the shirt just the right amount of flair. Plus, it's super flattering on all body types, so you can look your best while feeling your best. Now, I will say that this shirt is probably too casual for most offices, but that's okay because it's perfect for those weekend outings. I took mine on a golfing trip with the guys and it was the perfect shirt for a day out on the course. And with the option to dress it up or down, it's versatile enough for any weekend occasion. As far as sizing goes, I'm 5'10" and 200 pounds, and I went with a large. However, I could have easily sized up to an XL for a looser fit. So keep that in mind when ordering.

Designer quality and comfort.

This is a high quality, comfortable, lightweight, designer polo from Brooks Brothers. It’s stylish and modern, and looks great. I’m 6’3”, 250lbs (overweight) and the XXL fit well. The sleeves are shorter than I’d like, but will compliment those who are more physically fit. It’s obviously designed to be worn untucked, as the Brooks Brothers emblem is at the bottom left and both the length and cut are approximately for untucked wear. Of course, you could tuck it in if you’d like. Interestingly, it’s a 4 button polo. All of my polos are either 2 or 3 buttons, so that’s different. It’s a stylish and tasteful, versatile shirt that can be worn with a wide variety of bottoms (pants/shorts). Overall I think it’s an excellent shirt. While it is pricey ($80), they do deliver more quality/comfort/style, and is priced similar to comparable brands (Ralph Loren, vineyard vines, etc…). And let’s be honest, if you’re shopping this brand, you expecting to spend more.

Classic look

Super comfortable. Just about the perfect polo

Absolutely wonderful polo. Athletic fit through the arms and a slight taper down the body. Not overly tight, but not baggy either. Length is great. I'm 6'0 and sometimes have found nice polos to be too short when untucked. This one is just about perfect. Material is classic cotton. I really like that it isn't the "tech" type polyester/elastane material. Great feeling shirt. I wouldn't expect anything less from Brooks Brothers, and the price tag is a little steep for a polo, but if you are looking for a nice, classy polo for everyday wear, this is the one.
