Works great, but make sure to clean thoroughly

This is a really good mug. It keeps my drink warm, fits comfortably in the car drink holder, looks nice, and is easy to hold. I took off one star for the difficulty cleaning the lid. It’s quite a contraption under there to keep from leaking and is hard to clean!

Very spill proof, but that comes at a cost

If you absolutely need to have a spill proof tumbler, then this could be the one for you. Most tumblers make that claim, but this one doesn't release a drop. It has an unusual lid that has a slide mechanism to seal the opening and once you get used to it, you can easily open and close it without looking. It's a nice size but still fits in the car cup holders. It keeps the correct temperature for hours and the dark blue color looks good. So why only three stars? There are a few things I don't like about it. It's not dishwasher safe and who wants to spend time hand washing something like this? It has a rubber strip at the top, which looks nice, but it doesn't fit well and leaves a ridge at the top that feels odd when I hold it. But the biggest issue for me is the flow of liquid through the lid is too slow. I suspect it's a result of how well it seals, so that might not be an issue for you, but I found it annoyingly slow compared to other tumblers I own. Being 100% leak proof is not a priority issue for me, I would rather be able to drink at a typical pace.

Not the easiest lid to clean. Made in China.

This tumbler has a “unique” lid. You slide the bar to the right, and the seal underneath the lid opens. You slide it back to the left and it locks. Though it’s fairly easy to operate. . . It’s “challenging” to clean. The mechanism underneath is not removable (at least that I can tell). So you’ll need a small brush (perhaps a small straw brush) to clean all of the crevices adequately. But a brush is not included. This is a hand-wash item only. It stands approximately 7.25” tall with the lid. The bottom is 2.35” across. It has a painted exterior, which is a bit slick, but there is a textured silicone ring around the upper part of the tumbler, so it will not slide from your hand. You can not use a straw with this lid. This tumbler is Made in China. BUILT is a U.S. company. At the current price of seventeen bucks, it’s a bit more expensive than some of the cheap stainless tumblers being sold by Chinese companies on Amazon. . . but. . I like it much better than those.

Slide mechanism on lid, cannot use straw

Nice tumbler, keeps hot items hot for several hours with its double walled stainless steel. This item is a little more expensive than similar items that are made in China, but this brand (US Brand) is a little nicer with better design. Design: • Different type of lid that what I’m used to. Lid screws onto the cup making it more sturdy when handling and a tighter seal. The lid has a rubberized gasket that seals it snuggly on and prevents any leaks. There is an opening at the top of the lid that you can slide to the side with your thumb to open and close. Slide to the right, and the seal underneath the lid opens. Slide it back to the left and it locks. Although this is a nice feature because you can open and close while holding in just one hand, it does make it harder to clean under this area. You also don’t have the option for using a straw as it would not fit in. • Painted exterior. • Around the body of the cup is a silicone gripper with a texture that reminds me of the cardboard sleeves you get at a coffee shop. This adds comfort and makes it easier to hold. • 16oz. Standard size that fits in cup holders in car, strollers, etc. (approx. 2.35” wide x 7.25” tall) Durability: Hand was with brush. well made

I've had this for over 2 years and use it daily. It is a great tumbler to keep on my desk during the day. My iced coffee stays cold and my morning coffee stays hot. Well made, doesn't leak and does not sweat.

Junk. Overengineered.

Fancy rotating mechanism is like an unbalanced teeter totter. Vent hole is open but drinking opening is such a small crack that it is not usable. Will be returning.
