Flush mount really cleans up the boat when downriggers not in use. And water tight in heavy rain!

Misleading

Works and looks great. Do not be mislead though this is only the Flashpoint and does not include the cord or plug.

Easy to plug and unplug

Item is as described. I use it for housing the male plug for my cannon downrigger.

Requires a lot of backspace

The plug housing requires several inches of space behind whatever surface you plan on mounting it to. Too much, in my case, but it might work for you. I'll have to create my own plug that doesn't require so much room.

Look and work great.

Been wanting these for some time. They make plugging in my downriggers so much easier now. Good tight clamp design for the power cables. Clean look when not in use.

Works great but the picture is deceiving.

I doesn't come with a cord. It use the male plug side of the cord that comes with the downrigger. You remove 4 screws on the side remove the side cover of the plug housing insert the plug then then screw the side cover back on. You will need a 1 3/4" hole saw to install on the boat. Work great.
