Works as Designed

Bought this to act as a portable grab bar beside a toilet, serves the purpose very well. Lowered its height so it helps with liftoff. Quad base stands where needed, and steadies while in use. My daily driver is a single tip aluminum cane. This steel quad cane is much heavier when I tried walking with it. And I am used to setting the cane tip in front of me and stepping. The quad tends to rock forward to get upright when angled forward, and it tilts if the floor is uneven. So I prefer the single tip for walking. But this quad cane is perfect as my portable grab bar.

Does what a cane is supposed to

This is the 3rd of this type of cane I've purchased for mom. Much more stable then a single legged cane! The height is adjustable.

more support and stability

I have ordered the Hurricane which was sufficient for my post op knee surgeries. However my wife needed something more for her stroke issue- balance being the main concern. This cane better fit the bill, so would recommend for those who need more stability for assisted ambulation.

Thrilled with the Quad Cane

I got this for my 82 year old dad. The cane is sturdy and I couldn't be happier with the deliver speed.

Clumsy

The quad points of contact to the ground is a bit too heavy in proportion to the cane itself . Instead of a smooth gait, the cane feels unsafe on uneven ground as the multprongs contacts the ground.
