Awesome!! But also, starts to smell after a few months!

Love that these are bio-degradable and made from good stuff. I read about five hundred million reviews of TONS of different eco-friendly dish sponges/scrubbies and ended up going with these based on my research. Overall, I'm pleased, and will likely order again. But, have to warn you--they start to get pretty smellsville after a couple of months. Like, GROSS. For the price, it seems a bummer, but, at the same time, it's a small price I'm willing to pay to be more conscientious about our household waste. They hold up pretty well, other than the smelliness. To be frank, I didn't yet try throwing one in the dishwasher or microwave, so, maybe that would help kill all the bacteria that build up! If I do it, I'll update this review!

These sponges don't get smelly!

the copper in the sponges helps kill bacteria and viruses. normally, I'm washing my sponges in the dishwasher, followed by 1 minute on high in the microwave to keep them clean. While I'm still washing the sponges periodically in the dishwasher, I'm doing before any smell develops. just remember they do have copper in them so be careful not to use the scrubby side on non-stick pans...and NO microwave!

Best Sponges

These really are the best all-purpose sponges on the market. I got them the first time at Bed Bath and Beyond and a single sponge lasted I think 3-4 months with daily use. By contrast the scotch brite or whatever sponges I always used lasted maybe 1 month. These are in a league of their own, they work extremely well for scrubbing, etc. as well. Hope these remain available at Amazon (since I couldn't order them at BBB anymore) as I really can't see ever using a different brand of sponge again.

Nothing special here.

Don't know if the copper infusion is supposed to make the cleaning hand feel better, but the copper sure didn't seem to kill any germs in the sponge. In fact, these got the mold smell sooner than any other we've tried. Yes, we squeeze them out after use and they stand in a sponge holder and still they never seem to dry all of the way.

Very nice...

These copper sponges work really well. The rough side does a great job on my sinks, and since the sink is porcelain, it assists in getting the gray marks off.

Super sturdy sponge!

These are the sturdiest sponges I have ever used! Usually we go through a normal sponge in 1-2 weeks. This sponge has lasted over a month! Highly recommend!

Scrubber part is good - sponge part is not

The scrubber side of the sponge does a good job and holds up longer than the competing "green scrubbers" that most folks are used to. However, the sponge portion is very lightweight / low density and starts to break down very quickly.

Doesn't mold

What I love it doesn't mold like normal sponges.. Last time the scrubbing part came off the sponge. We'll see if it happens again.

Expensive but good quality

The scrubber does not scratch my pots. I did not try it on my cutlery as they are polished stainless steel and I did not want to potentially scratch them. I have used these scrubber/sponges before and was generally pleased with them. The price is somewhat expensive but there are no other brands that can match the durability and quality. It also does not have that moldy smell if I had forgotten to wash the soap out of the sponges overnight.
