Easy to read, accurate, but with some downsides
Overall this is a decent watch at this price point. Solar charging/recharging is good so far. Readability of the analog dial is excellent, but the digital display is a bit small. The features of this watch are quite good - you can even adjust the time the light stays on, from 1-3 seconds. I haven't had it long yet, but I would expect it to be fairly durable. The digital display is pretty small. As a consequence, the DAY can be displayed, but not with the DATE. Instead Casio has inexplicably included SECONDS. When switching mode on the display to DATE, the DAY is similarly not displayed (again you get seconds). This is annoying and it seems this could have been easily remedied in design. Although this is an inexpensive watch, the hands and select makers have a basic Lume applied, which actually works pretty well. This is a nice add-on for a watch at this price point. My watch arrived in excellent/pristine condition with all tags, manuals, and boxes. It appears to be a genuine Casio, not a knockoff. Overall here are the pros and cons: PROS - Inexpensive - Solar powered - Nice analog time keeping with small digital supplement for day/date, stopwatch, etc. - Decent adjustable light - Decent hand and marker Lume. - Overall good build quality and features at this price point. CONS - Small date display that is a bit hard to read. - DAY and DATE cannot be simultaneously displayed in the digital screen. A mode change is necessary to get both. Overall a really good product for the price. I'd prefer to give it 4.5 stars, but I've rounded up to 5 considering how inexpensive it is.

This is a much slimmer and easier to read watch than the ‎AQS810W
This watch is so much slimmer and more comfortable compared to its larger brother, the AQS810W. Coming from that watch, I can't help but appreciate this watch's more flexible wrist strap and thinner, less present case size. It's a lovely timepiece. I cannot speak for its water resistance, and some of the other reviews seem to point that out as a sore spot for this watch. Casio will likely outright replace it under warranty, but still.

This watch is worth it
This is a great watch. It's ery durable and practical. It's easy to set time simply by setting the city and the analogue display links to digital. Casio solar watches are very durable. The capacitator can easily last 10 yrs before replacement. On a High(Full) charge, a Tough Solar can easily run for more than five months. As an EDW watch it's very comfortable. It's a great value for money w/ world time, stop-watch, chronograph and dual time. Great lume as well.

BEST CASIO I HAVE EVER OWNED!
If you're like me and you like the look of a Tag Heuer Formula 1 watch combined with digital accuracy and a FOREVER battery, then this watch is a MUST, especially at 39 percent off list!!! I owned a Tag Heuer Formula 1 watch for about 8 years when the battery ran out for the third time. In this post-lockdown era of skilled labor shortages, your only option for getting a new battery installed is to send it back to the Tag USA headquarters in NJ. So I did that and to my surprise after waiting over a month, they said it would cost over $300 to replace the battery and perform maintenance on all of the seals. No thanks - this Casio is a much better value, with the perpetual solar battery (watch came fully charged), sharp Formula 1 looks, and the digital accuracy. I was amazed when I first set the time on the watch: you set the correct time zone and then the time automatically is set by satellite. The really amazing part is that the minute and hour hands then automatically synced themselves to the correct time - I have never seen that before. In fact, you can't even set the hands manually. What an incredibly good-looking watch and accurate for the price. It's also really lightweight and thinner so not clunky, and with my thinner wrists, the diameter is just right! Lastly, the luminescence of the dials is adequate -- I can see the time in pitch black darkness but it's not strong. And as others have mentioned, the LED screen is a tad small and hard to read when the hands are in the vicinity. The only real weakness: the mineral glass already shows an abrasion line after just under a month. Sapphire mineral glass it is not, but then for the price, you can't get a better deal overall than this!

Ok watch
Watch is way too small it’s like a kids watch but being solar and for that money I guess is ok it’s definitely not what I expected out of a G-SHOCK though

Nice little watch for the price
Nice little watch for the price. Lightweight and good size face (not too big like allot of the watches now a days). Good digital date and time function also with alarm and timers also. The analog loom sucks barely works and maybe lasts a minute or two in the dark. But the digital time has a backlight which works great. Band is decent although I already bought a nato for it to change to. Quality doesn’t feel great, not sure how long will last or hold up since feels really flimsy but can’t expact much at this price (was $50 to my door all in so happy with the price). Shipping was lighting fast got it within 2 days from ordering. Longer term notes: Thought I'd add to the review since it's been a month or more now of daily use. I've actually been pretty hard on the watch, and I'm happily surprised it's held up well. Use it in the garage on a regular basis working on my dirtbikes (oil, grease, gases and all that and no issues). Have had it out on about 4 pretty hard rides in the woods and 2 of them were race practice and other then a few minor scuffs on the crystal the watch has been great. It really works well with the fabric nato strap I put on it and perfect for keeping track of the time out in the forest. The fact that it's solar is perfect since the watch gets lots of light out there. Great all around inexpensive little watch and really happy I bough it.

Great EDC EveryDayCarry watch
I have used this watch as my daily watch for work since the day I got it. My work environment has harsh conditions where i am exposed to the elements and all kinds of physical activity. The watch would be exposed to lots of contact with surfaces. It has been around 9 months since i have been using it and have no complaints. I like that it is solar powered so i don't need to think about battery replacement or winding/movement to charge. The colour scheme is okay. The Hands are easily visible in dalylight. As usual, night time illumination is dependent on sunlight exposure before.I wish the nightlight lit up the entire face of the watch, not just the digital screen on the bottom. The digital functions take a little bit of getting used to but i personally don't use them because I have not much reason to. Initially when i bought this watch i was sent a completely different watch and brand, but i was able to return it and the correct watch was sent to me.It made for an interesting buying experience. The price is a light bit high overall for what you get. In Summary, this is a good knock around watch that is built well and with durability in mind. It will not win any fashion awards. The solar power cannot be overlooked. it is possibly the best feature. TLDR: Good watch, strong build

Spiffy, small.
So, to start... I have tiny wrists for a dood. I didn't want something too big, either tall or wide around. Hard to find a watch that fits small wrists, let alone being "slim". And it IS pretty damn slim. This watch actually feels small on my wrist. I might have opted for the fullsize tough version of this watch, but I have doubts the strap would fit. On the slim, I use the 2nd peg on the strap. On the full size tough (which ive never tried), I am unsure if it would go small enough. I mention the larger version of this watch, because the digital display on the slim version is just too damn small. Unreadable for me, unless its right up in my face. For the price, it is a great solar watch. Pretty cool. Picked up the 3rd party extended warranty too. Have not had this watch long, will update on durability.

This thing is a tank
Casio never disappoints. Altho it isnt one of their G-shocks, ive worn this thing throughout 6 months now including 3 full months of being a lifeguard everyday in the sun and now in showers, in sleep etc... It has a couple of minor scratches on the face and other cosmetic damage that aren't noticeable at all. The watch is surprisingly thin and fits my small wrists, no fogging up, battery is always on high and in this 6 months, its 10 seconds off. +5

Was great until it ceased being water resistant...
Have to edit this now. It was a great watch until it stopped being water resistant. It’s still working but the film of moisture covering about a half of the inside of the watch face lens makes it a little more challenging to read at a glance. It’s water exposure was showering so no extended immersion or pressure. Go figure, it’s just past it’s warranty as well...really liked this watch but I can’t recommend it now. This is a pretty good buy for your money. I have to squint a bit to read the time or date on the digital display but that’s more due to compromised eyesight than the watch. It’s very lightweight (unaware that it’s there) and comfortable. I work in a mine so it takes a bit of abuse. I’m glad I can leave it on to get clean when I shower at the end of shift. The sleek and simple design of it is very appealing to me as well.
