My 16 year old sprayer deteriorated, so I got this kit and got it back in service.

Worked for Chapin 2120 2 Gal Sprayer

My old Chapin 2120 quit holding air, and the new competitor models at the big box stores just don't compare. So after searching the Chapin website, I bought this kit. Sure enough it worked to repair it. It has the right lid gasket, but it also has the parts to repair the plunger/pump mechanism and a couple of gaskets for the sprayer tip. It got my sprayer back to fully functional again. I took off a star because it didn't have the gaskets I needed to replace the one on the pressure relief valve or on the spray nozzle adjustment. Otherwise it was just what I needed. BTW, there are no instructions, so be sure to pay attention to how you disassemble the sprayer.

Every 5 years?

The nut froze onto the shaft after 10 plus years of unfailing use. I ended up rethreading the shaft. The lesson is to replace these parts before the corrosion sets in. This time I used silicone caulk to encase that connection.

Kit includedveverything except on handle flat seal, I was able to flip it over and use it.. This sprayer works great I bought it back in the 80's and it is the first rebuild. It only handled caustic chemicals for HVAC..
