Super cute and warm too
This sweater is so cute it's scary. I'm not a person who "dresses" up their dog, but my smaller dog Dixie is about 20lbs and doesn't have a thick coat like my other dogs. She seems to get cold pretty quickly, so I bought her this for winter as she loves being outside. My only complaint is that it's a little scratchy. I'm going to wash it and hope that it can be softened a bit. I got my girl a medium and it fits great. I wish it had sleeves though, as her elbows don't have much fur on them and that would help to protect them a bit more. Overall, a really cute sweater. It seems well made, but my dog is a chewer so we'll see how long it lasts. I hope it lasts a while because I think the price of $29.99 is a bit much for a dog sweater.

Large Pup
Our boy has a rough time keeping weight on. So, for the handful of cold days here in Florida, he lacks insulation to stay warm and often burrows himself under blankets. After scouring Amazon and struggling to find a sweater for a large dog that wouldn't need to be removed when he went outside I found this. Great purchase! The previous reviews warned me that the sweater would not be soft. It was softer than I thought it would be - think wool holiday sweater. Jack loves it.

Well made
These sweaters are well made and fit standard poodles! Those who have poodles understand this...the sweaters are long enough down the back and no gap underneath the chest. I highly recommend this sweater.

Very warm - even in rainy Washington State! It runs SMALL - my dogs are German Shorthair Pointers (30" girth behind front legs, 10" wide chest, 18" collar, 25" long from collar to tail) and the XL barely fits. If your dog has longer hair, or is large in the shoulders, go up a size. These are handknit in Peru using organic dyes. I was pretty impressed. The dogs, not so much, but they're warm!

XL fit my 70 lb pit bull perfectly
I got an XL for my 70 lb pit bull and it fit great! The sweater is stretchy to fit over his neck and getting his feet through the arm holes was easy. The sweater looks and fits great. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is because it's not machine washable. It's real wool so it needs to be hand washed or dry cleaned, which is not very practical for a dog.

Great Quality, Easy to Use
These sweaters seem as if they were made by a grandmother knitting at home. They are: - soft and warm - thick and simply well-made - VERY easy to put on and take off - VERY stable, i.e. they stay on - apparently comfortable to do any "doggie business" while wearing them - cut in a manner, that they do not drag on the ground and pick up any dirt or "doggie business" The last item above was our main concern prior to trying these; but they are very cleverly shaped to keep warm, yet not drag on the ground or get close to the genitals.

Excellent Sweater! I am a return customer when it comes to Chilly Dog Sweaters for my dog. He loves them and patiently waits to have his sweater(s) put on each time he goes out in the cold weather which is often. Well Made! 100% Wool! Fits Perfectly!!! Keeps it shape. Washes well in cold water, dry flat! My Dog is a GSP/Lab Mix. He wears the XL size. So many compliments when we are on our walks as these sweaters are just so cute!

Cute, warm, but doesn't hold up.
We got lots of compliments on this sweater - it's super cute and I liked that it was wool. It didn't last long with indoor wear on an older dog. It stretched very quickly, and within a month the yarn started to pull apart. By the end of the winter it was ridiculous - falling apart, with lots of makeshift darning on our part trying to get it to last the season. We won't buy again.

Great item.
Great sweater for my dog. Keeps him warm and slips on and off easily. The actual item is well constructed and is like a nice heavy wool Sweater. It’s actually quite stylish.
