This photo is misleading. Makes these boots seem like they have faux laces, which would be great. But instead this boot comes with ridiculously long laces that you need to wrap twice around your calf to tie. Which makes the whole boot look stupid. Now I have to hunt down laces of a normal length. It's annoying.
