Runs large in some areas.

These fit nicely through the hips and butt, but ran loose in the thighs and crotch, and created a big gap at the back of my waist too. I often have this issue with jeans not fitting in the waist and thighs, so your mileage may vary. Unfortunately, they do look kind of frumpy on me. I'm hoping I can shrink them with some hot water and a high dryer cycle, and balance them out with the right top. Also, the color difference between the legs is way subtler in real life. I couldn't see it until I looked at them from far away. I'd almost rather it was more obvious, because it almost looks accidental this way. I will say that the denim is good quality. It's very stiff/solid (in a good way) and all cotton, no elastic. The button at the top is so hard to undo that I'd hesitate to wear these to work! Hoping it will loosen up with time.
