Gorgeous, but wide wasn’t wide enough

I have very wide feet with high arches and a high instep. I love these boots and when I saw them in person I was not disappointed. Sadly, they were too tight with the thinnest of socks, only after more or less removing the laces (which I was planning on swapping out, they aren’t great looking…but they were still far too tight across the ball of my foot, and I am not looking to add bunions to my foot problems, so they’re headed back. If you have regular width feet, I’m guessing wide would allow a more generous sock, and if you have narrow feet regular is probably great… but they’re not really meant for a wide foot, which is a shame, as they look fantastic.

Love them!!

I have several boots and these by far outweighs the support and comfort from the rest!! I work at a car repair shop and I am on my feet ALL DAY and by the end of the day my feet typically start aching- these boots have been a game changer. I will post some pictures tomorrow when I wear them AGAIN!! MUST HAVES!!

Comfortable and flexible, right out of the box

I first wore these on a 1-week trip to London. They didn't need breaking in. They are just the right combination of soft and supportive. I haven't fully submerged them in a deep puddle of water, but they definitely performed well in light to moderate rain and on wet grass. My feet stayed dry. They keep my feet just the right temperature, too. Very nice quality. Worth the price.

Gorgeous - if they fit your foot!

Like some other reviewers have mentioned, I've been trying to replace my Cobb Hill Bethany boots and these seemed to be similar. The style is super cute and the quality is great. I was really excited to find that the leather is sort of a velvety, matte finish - not exactly nubuck (like my Bethanys), but not shiny leather. I usually wear an 8 1/2 but ordered a 9. They were really hard to get on and super narrow right around the widest part of my foot (where the rivets are). The soles are also way clunkier and less flexible than the ones on the Bethanys. Too expensive to take a chance on whether they will break in and be comfortable. Unfortunately, I'm returning them (and won't get a refund for 14 days - FYI).

Buy these boots

I had an older pair of grey suede boots that were the same brand/style. Love them. Was so excited to find a pair in black. The soles are a bit "soft," so they grip on the ice and snow well. There is a rather strange raised footbed with the logo on it inside I was originally concerned that it would be uncomfortable, but I wore them on the snow, ice and concrete for several miles yesterday and they were just fine.

Adorable and comfortable

My absolute favorite boots! They fit perfectly and my feet have never hurt after wearing them all day. Water slides right off of them. Super cute too! Definitely worth the splurge

Love these!

I had a different but almost the same model of these cob hill boots about 8 years ago and wore them OUT because they were so comfortable. In the comments it said these boots run a bit narrower than the old model so I ordered a wide and it fits great! I might have been able to get away with the regular width, but I didn't want to chance it since I just had a baby. These boots are very comfortable as I remember. As a tip - if they don't feel comfortable and wide enough right away they probably never will since these have a lining and won't stretch much.

LOVE LOVE LOVE these boots!

They are so comfortable. I have a slightly wider foot so these fit well. I walked all over New York City in them, even in the rain. My feet were dry and comfortable. And I think they are super cute!

Looks edgy!

I bought these as (almost) everyday footwear as I have pretty severe lower back pain. The boot is solid, fits well and is relatively comfortable. With my low back pain and Rheumatoid Arthritis, I will need to add an insole to make this wearable everyday as the footbed is not cushioned enough for my tender feet. I am happy I purchased and again, love the look :)

wide was comfortable

I'm a size 7.5 . As I am in my mid 50's, and my arches have dropped a bit, I have been finding that wide fits better than regular. They are comfortable boots in wide size.
