Sizes are hard to eval good qual
5ft 8, 170 lb, 34 waist. Ordered Large per suggestions & size guide which shows Lg as 36-38 waist. As tight bands are uncomfortable the Lg looked right. These are more of a big & tall lg & waistband is more like a 38-42 waist. So a little loose & long. But good quality , correct for cold as listed. I work outdoors most days & these are right for 10 to 25f wind chills, matbe down to zero. Will probably order the Medium next. Price is correct, no quality issues. Will add to this if anything comes up.

ColdPruf hits the mark with these Single Layer Bottoms
These are a value and appear to be of high quality build. They should be consider a light base layer. They provide more warmth than typical silk long underwear that have the feeling of ladies nylons, but these are not medium base layer, or for "very cold" as advertised. As indicated, I'd consider them medium duty at best not very cold duty. But that is actually the IDEAL since these are thin enough to comfortably fit under blue jeans and give CONSIDERABLY more warmth than the super thin silk you find. As usual with long underwear bottoms, I sized myself up somewhat so they wouldn't be too tight and would be long enough. Mo matter what is advertised, I always find them to shrink, even the synthetics. I am 34W 33L and the large is perfect.

Good at keeping your lower extremities warm
I bought these to keep my lower extremities warm while I was in Utah and Colorado over Christmas. Mission accomplished. These are way warmer and more comfortable than thermal underwear plus they look better. They're so comfortable that I'd wear them to sleep in. Just FYI--they're sized generously so you might want to consider going one size smaller than usual.

Warm, comfortable, lightweight
Well-made, product. Thought they might be too small when I took them out of the package, but they fit perfectly according to the size chart. Good length - goes to my ankles perfectly. I'm inside and outside throughout the day. Wear these under my dress pants. Warm when I'm out, but still comfortable inside. Will buy again when I wear these out.

Toasty at Seven Below
Everyone's concept of "cold" is different. Some reviews indicate these kept them warm while walking in 30-40 F weather while others can't feel warm at 30F. Well, this morning when I took the dog out for a walk it was MINUS 7F!! (Maine) I put these on for the first time this winter under some lined jeans and I was perfectly toasty for a half hour walk. In fact, my legs were almost too warm. I had to take them off when I got back so I wouldn't be too hot. They kept me dry when I did sweat a little and I'm sure they'll keep me warm under normal pants when the weather hits a balmy 10-20F.

Thin and warm
Keeps you warm without getting too hot, thin for under jeans. tend to grow in length as you wear them, but otherwise great.

Kept me warm and dry
I purchased a few pairs of these before a 10-day ski trip as my old base layers were falling apart. They wicked sweat away very well and even when the wind was howling at 30 or 40mph I never got cold. The price is right (very inexpensive IMO). I only wish they made a 3/4 length version as those would be more comfortable while wearing ski boots.

Fantastic base layer for cold weather!
These pants are great for a base layer to keep out the wind and cold. They breathe, so you don't sweat in them (as long as you're layered properly). They were a little looser than I thought so I either need to bulk up my legs or get a size down but if you're wearing these as a base layer to protect against the cold, they work!

Good active wear
I bought these and the matching top for cross country skiing. I haven't used them for that yet, but have worn and washed them a few times an they seem durable. These aren't a particularly warm set and they don't absorb sweat so they're great for aerobic snow activities. The low bulk and "silkiness" makes them nice to wear under my office clothes on cold days.
