It is for real!
Hard to believe this is true, a comfortable seat cover for under $25. I’ve tried air seats, gel seats, water seats, custom seats, bead seats, sheepskin seats and others. None cost less than the Coleman and honestly none worked significantly better for me. I’m no iron butt rider but I have ridden 400-600 miles several times and my butt suffered. This simple seat cover allows me many more miles in comfort. Now if it could ease my shoulder pain. It does absorb water, it is awkward to mount of some bikes and it is too long or too short for some bikes. But hey if it doesn’t work for you, OMG, you are out $25, not 3 to 5 times or more that for the other options that didn’t work as well.

Love it!! Got this to keep my seat from getting so hot
It definitely works for my yamaha big bear 350 4x4 the seat stays so much cooler, let's you get air I guess, also while sitting out in the sun and getting back on it has made a huge difference too. Now I have read a review that it absorbs water, mine is garage kept and we have not been caught out in rain yet so if it changes I will come back. But so far we love it and are thinking about getting another one for our other bear.

Not bad at all
Pretty comfy. If you’re buying this for a bike you’re probably gonna want to cut the buckles and use string or something, as the buckles were getting in the way when trying to put the seat back on. I definitely slide around a little more now but not nearly as bad as I expected.

Just Okay
This looks to be more of an ATV saddle cover than a motorcycle one so definitely check the dimensions to make sure it works for your specific seat. I sandwiched a piece of blue gel material between this and my motorcycle seat to dampen the vibrations on my bike and increase the comfort a bit. The first week it actually hurt my butt but seems to be softening up. It still doesn’t feel like I am riding a couch but it took some of the edge off.

A must have for the DR650
Because I dont feel like throwing several hundred dollars at my DR650 seat which was inspired by a 2x6, this is a good compromise. It softens the pain from the Suzuki seat and makes longer trips doable at a cheap price. It fits well and needs no mods for DR650.

XSR900
For my first gen XSR900 perfectly. I used my pannier supports to anchor the back two straps, while the front fit beneath the seat.

This fit the seat of my Honda very well
My first impression so far it does make the seat more comfortable, but the real test will be hot weather and a good 500 mile ride. I at this point think it is worth the money.

Works good on Honda XL600R
The blue seat-cover on my old 1987 XL600R is in great shape and looks terrific. But the seat-foam underneath is worn-out, very stiff, and starts making me sore after about 45 minutes of road riding. After about 3-4 hours it becomes absolutely unbearable and I MUST IMMEDIATELY STOP RIDING for the day. So I decided to give this a try as an affordable quick-fix. And it works...mostly. For shorter rides (1-2 hours around town) I still get sore when I'm not wearing my padded MX shorts (A.R.C. Padded Riding Shorts, Rocky Mountian ATV). But this product takes the edge off and it never starts to become unbearable. I just shift around on my seat and that gets me through. I even went for a previously unthinkable ride recently. Portland to Mt. Hood to Hood River and back with lots of exploration and off-road play along the way. 10 hours in the saddle and I made it! A LOT of uncomfortable shifting around as the day wore-on, but while I got quite sore, it never became too much to bear (though it did come very close). I count it a success as guy who doesn't have a wad of money to burn for a hand-crafted custom seat foam replacement on such an old bike. Oh, and I also think it looks pretty good installed. I removed the seat for mounting, then used safety-pins to hold the straps tight. Safety pins are a must. On my bike the rear-most strap was bit difficult because the way the fender and seat interact. Just know that it won't fit perfectly without a bit of tinkering, but it does fit without modification. So like anything else, don't do it when you are pressed for time. If you want a good cover without spending loads of cash, then I highly recommend this cover. It should fit any motorcycle with a dirt-type dished seat. It's a big help. And the price is right. Get it! EDIT: About 1 1/2 years has now past, and I can say that this seat-pad buys me an extra couple hours in the saddle. But used in combination with my padded shorts I can ride all day long, and have now gone on a couple multi-day camping trips. Neither the shorts or the seat-cover by themselves are the solution, it's the two in combination which yield multi-day riding comfort. While it varies I'd say 8-10 hours straight is what this combination buys me in complete comfort. And 10-12 hours gets a bit sore towards the end, but at 40 who wouldn't? It has fadded a bit from black toward grey, but is still mostly black in appearance. It is water resistant on cool damp mornings, but not in Oregon rain. Though it seems to never become waterloged and dries quickly, especially when it gets wet while you're going down the road. It does slide side-to-side, but only about 1/2" of center in in either direction. And only noticed it doing so in the front where the seat is most narrow. I'm mentioning it for your review, but it's never been a problem. I just give it a tug once in a while and it's back in place. I don't even notice myself doing it anymore. But if you have a skinny seat you'll need to put extra effort into getting the straps tight. Over time it has left black marks in my seat-cover, but has not cut into the material. If it starts to look worn out, I'll just buy and new one, and clip it onto the old straps. Still happy. Still recommended.

good fit
I've tried a lot of products for the monkey butt problem and this is the best yet.ive put one on my long distance trail bike and it helps a lot.ive had seats refoamed, gel inserts put in at a lot more cost than the mad dog.it is that good at the relative small price i purchased another one a month later as a spare.

I love it
Great cover which I fitted to my Honda CRF250L, Nothing bad to say about the comfort or quality. Fantastic item at an equally great price. I removed the plastic clip together buckles as this made getting the seat back on very difficult, Tied under seat with sash cord through the cover loops, pleasantly surprised with it's waterproof properties when I washed the bike, Very happy indeed
