Soooo warm and comfortable

I live in Germany. These are THE warmest and most comfortable winter boots I’ve EVER had! Great for walking around for long periods of time at Christmas markets!!

Warm but uncomfortable

I got these to wear at the Farmers Markets that I work at, which are outside rain or shine. Sadly, I gotta keep looking for something to keep my feet warm. Yes, these are warmer than regular shoes. Sadly, part of the warming design is a very, and I mean VERY thick insole. So thick, that it does not offer support. Having some cushioning to take the blow of walking on pavement or gravel is helpful, but too much cushioning is bad for your feet and ankles according to podiatrists and my own bones telling me so. So, your heel is wobbling on a thick elevated heel pad, while there is a steep decline toward the ball of your foot, but still- that area is thick and unstable. There isn't even an arch support or stabilizer bar inside the shoe, or raised ridges like on some insoles like the Super Feet brand (I think thats the name, I didn't like them, but I understand the design). Next- when I walk, something about the structure of the boot tongue and upper part rubs a lot on my lower shin where it meets my ankle. I can't figure out why it feels like a dull ache, I tried loosening the shoestrings, and wearing thick socks. But the more I walk, the more it presses against my skin over and over wearing it out and causing a dull ache. But- they are waterproof so far, and cozy for wearing to the office. I changed my insoles and it allows them to be slightly bearable, but most folks regular insoles are a lot lower to the ground then the insole that came in these, so the shoe ends up being bigger around the ball of the foot and toes, which makes it feel like a size to large, and that is not good for support either. Either way, no matter the insole, you're basically, slightly rolling your ankle left and right. Sorry...these just don't feel like someone actually tested these by working outside in real life circumstances. I'll keep them for office days and find something else to wear when I have to actually walk.

Nice warm boots

These boots are comfortable and keep my feet nice and warm. I wear them to work which I mostly stand on concrete..... they are good for about 8 hours but after that my feet do start to hurt but my feet are still warm.

A bit narrow around the toes.

A bit narrow around the toes. If you try to use tick socks or 2 pair of socks it might hurt your feet. I have very narrow feet and still had this issue. No issues if wearing regular socks. The bottom does still get very cold. I wish the sole had better insulation.

These boots are awesome!!

I ordered these boots for a trip to Steamboat Springs where it snowed a lot!! I was so happy with these babies!! They were so soft and warm and stepping in these feels like cushy clouds, I’m not kidding!! My feet never got wet walking around in all the snow and some mushy areas. Pretty good grip on the bottoms too, I never slipped! I recommend SIZE UP. I’m mostly an 8.5, sometime 9. I ordered both and the 8.5 were too snug, especially if you’re wearing fuzzy socks!! Great for the price and I have zero regrets!

Olive green

Comfortable boots. Warm (though they haven’t really been tested yet). Dropped one star because the color is very different than the picture. It is olive green. If I had read the reviews I would have been prepared (others had the same surprise). I don’t mind the color so I’ll keep them but I was really wanting the color in the picture.

Very cute but runs small

These boots run about a half a size small. I had to reorder them from another store to get the right size. They are really cute and kept my feet warm and dry in very cold, snowy conditions.

More purple than red, but fit well.

December 2022. I bought these for their waterproof, hiking function, but also for the color and price. The picture looks like brick red. (They are described as plum, but I didn't notice til I got them.) They are actually a purple plum, not a red plum. Which is a little disappointing, but I'm more concerned with function, so I will live with the odd color. Came with an extra set of laces! Fit: Got 7.5 Wide. The lasts are flat (don't curve up around the sides of the feet, so even though I prefer Extra Wide, these aren't tight. The insoles are very thick at the heel. If I remove them, the boots are zero drop, which I like, but way too loose. (I could wear 7 regular if wore them without the insoles.) I might try them with different insoles. The soles are a little stiff, compared to my trail running shoes, so I'll have to get used to that. The shaft is flexible though. No ankle support, which is fine. The top of the boot sits about 3" above the ankle bone. Function: I'll update as I use them. The trails are snowy, slushy, icy and puddly. So we'll see how warm and waterproof they are. And how the tread holds up to hill climbs and descents. So for now 4 stars.

Best boots I’ve had in a long time

I am very pleased with these boots. They are warm, way more water proof than I expected, very comfortable. They are light weight, not big and bulky like like other winter boots almost feels like you have sneakers on. I love them and am seriously thinking on buying another pair in a different colour and in the taller model

Comfy, light, and warm

Other than the fact the price of these dropped $4.99 before they even arrived, I do love these boots. I needed new winter boots anyways, so decided on a lightweight pair for my upcoming Alaskan cruise in early May. The tread is good and should help me stay upright on icy shores and wet decks. Columbia is always my goto brand for things to keep me warm and this latest purchase is true to what I expect when I shop Columbia. I usually wear a size 10 but went with 10.5 just in case I need to double up on socks. They fit great either way. I look forward to enjoying them before and during my cruise.

Comes up a little small.

To begin, great product and very happy with the quality. The boot does come up a little small though so had to return. The process was effortless and very quick. Very happy with the whole thing.
