Uncomfortable...

- It really is shiny. - Doesn't breath as well as the Columbia Terminal Tackle. - Doesn't stretch very well. - The thumb hole is stiff and the arms are too short for the thumb hole making this an uncomfortable sun hoodie. I'd look elsewhere.

Great against sun rays.

Regardless of what anyone says I love these shirts they are shiny but if you had any common sense you would understand that shiny surfaces reflect light and heat hence why sun visors for cars is shiny. So please ignore the negative reviews and get one if you work or do activities outside i assure you will have the last laugh when everyone else is complaining about the suns rays being to hot.

Functions great! - Looks meh (shiny finish)

Works great keeping you protected from the sun and relatively cool! Hood with built in facemask is great, sleeve length with thumb holes perfect length for hand protection while staying out of the way. Only problem I have is the shine, did not realize the outside would have a glossy/shine finish.

Love it. Mid July went pier fishing in SC. With a bit of breeze, I actually felt better with this on than I did with a t shirt. The material has some kind of metallic dots in it. Crazy lightweight stuff. Thumb holes, neck gaiter, hoodie and full sleeve graphic.

No Bites!

First time wearing my Columbia Terminal Deflector ZERO Hoodie. Went to the bird sanctuary (May 24th weekend) to take pictures. Nobody else was there because it was 95 degrees out and the mosquitos were starving. Pulled up the hood and face cover, figured out the cool thumb holes, and took pictures for 3 hours. No bites! It folds up small enough that I can stuff it in a pocket or corner of my camera bag for emergency mosquito defense.

Great sun protection

My husband loves these shirts for the sun. I don’t like the fabric myself as I only wear cotton, but he finds it ok and finds that it cools and protects him from the sun.
