Purchased for my hubby and he loves it. Since the jackets come apart, he has options for 3 styles depending on the weather. He said it’s really, really warm when both are paired together. It’s also true to size.

Generous size, good length

I gave this coat to my son for his birthday. He's a big guy (6'4") with long arms and a long torso, and this coat fits him perfectly. He's very happy with it.

Good for Wind & Rain but Cheap Zipper

Good overall jacket. Here’s what I liked: The outer shell does a great job of keeping out the wind and the rain. There is plenty of room to layer additional warm clothing under this jacket. It runs a little big, but that’s OK. I bought the Large/Tall. I am 6ft 1 in. and 170lbs. Larger customers may not have the roominess that I experienced. For me, I was comfortable down to about 35°. Below that, I could add layers to keep me nice and toasty. I wear this jacket all the time in the winter so I’m quite pleased with that aspect. What I did not like about this jacket. The zipper is the one fault with this jacket. It appears to be cheaply made. And the tab on the zipper is nothing but a piece of string that is almost laughable. See the attached photos. The tab should allow one to utilize the zipper while wearing gloves. The zipper is the part of the jacket it is used every time and I expected more from Columbia. If you can buy this jacket on sale, do it. But don’t pay the full price. Go with something that sturdier.

Warm Jacket, great in the wind.

I don't understand other reviews about this jacket not being warm. I bought it for a trip to Idaho. I was in the wind most of the time, and snow, most days 30 to 40 degrees, with wind chills in the 20's and teens and spent hours on trails there. It kept me warm and dry the entire time. I wore the fleece liner by itself a few times as well while driving. The 2 together should easily provide ample warmth in the wind and temperatures as advertised. Layer it and you can easily brave wind chills to 0, I would say. It is a jacket though, not a parka, so don't expect to wear it in the arctic or something. My only complaint is the the zippers are a little hard to start sometimes.

Runs big

Bought this for my husband who could care less about what his jackets look like but he was excited about this one. He normally wears a 2xl in shirts but as other reviews have said this jacket runs big. Probably could have gone with the XL but he didn't to wait for me to exchange it. He really like the zip out fleece option so that's a win. Overall nice coat just order a size down.

Cheap cost cutting item from Columbia

Why can’t one of Columbia’s better coats include a double zipper? How is one supposed to get into a car and sit without eventually tearing the single zipper they include on this coat. Of all stupid places to cut corners. I’ll never buy another Columbia parka without knowing that they have a double zipper built into the outer layer.

Nice looking jacket ..Not warm enough

The liner seems to be much smaller than the jacket. Not as warm as other Columbia's I've had . jacket without liner is fairly comfortable and somewhat true to size as expected Columbia tends to run a little small . If your looking for a super warm jacket this problably isn't the one

Comoda, a prueba de agua, facil conversión

Muy práctico, puedes retirar fácilmente la chamarra impermeable negra y te queda un suéter gris de muy buena calidad. Muy recomendable por el costo afertado.
