It is a good coat. I've had Columbia coats for a very long time. The build quality of these newer coat models doesn't seem to be of the same high quality as the older models. For example, I'm not a fan of the emblem on the jacket not being embroidered. Looks cheap and a little tacky. I'd pay the extra few bucks...... Also, not a fan of velcro. Button snaps are I think the only option for long term use on a jacket or coat. I'm not trying to bash this product to death. I think those additions would make this a much better value. Overall this is a very good coat for moderately cold temperatures and a good value.

Extremely Versatile Jacket

Was able to use both components of the jacket together and separately during a recent trip! The jacket kept me dry after standing in the rain for a full hour, and the under layer is very warm and comfortable on its own. Also very nice that the hood is detachable. Went with an XL, and I am glad I did for length’s sake.

Great 3 in 1 jacket!

This is a very nice jacket. 3 in 1 design makes it useful for rainy, snowy or just plain cold days. The shell is a nice olive drab green and fleece is a nice gray tone. The fleece is super comfy and toasty warm. The shell is waterproof and has an adjustable hood. I am 5'9, 170 lbs and the large fits great. Columbia makes quality jackets and I am looking forward to years of use with this jacket. Perfect for central Texas spring, fall and winter!

Great overall

Chose Smallest size available but still a bit larger than I expected and I m 5’7 tall. However it kept me warm through one snow storm so far. The first layer is waterproof and kept the water out of the way. The second layer of the jacket has great thermal quality and kept me warm all the time.

Warm enough but order one size up...

Warm enough for a winter jacket. But if you want to layer up underneath, get one size up for this jacket. Other than that, it has a nice design to it.

Great quality Winter Jacket :)

Very well made winter jacket. Fits very nicely. Not overly large. Stitching is of good quality. zipper is easy to close. I am 400 Pounds over weight guy and I find it very easy to slip into and out. Another thing the sleeves are of good length. Color of jacket is light grey. Overall it is a great jacket and i recommend anyone big and tall to get it. I want to specially thank Amazon.com.ca for making it so easy to get clothes of excellent quality for big and tall people.
