Yep, worth it !
I don’t buy clothes on line . But I took a chance. I am 4ft 11 160 pds and it’s hard to find shorts that don’t go down to the knees . Bought size 14. FITS . Stretchy , the color is true to pic .

Another GREAT pair of Columbia shorts!
I've written a couple other reviews and I love the Columbia clothes line. They have quality clothes that look good and feel good. These shorts meet those same expectations I've had and even exceeded them some. Buying in the plus size sometimes clothes in general aren't flattering, especially the ones I'd like to wear, but these look great! I love the material and feel. My only complaint is that I bought the Grey/grill and Navy blue and they are VERY close to being the same color. My only wish though is to get some Khaki ones!

Runs really small
I have 2 pairs of Columbia hiking pants purchased last Spring in a size 10 that are now much too big and I wear an 8 for pretty much everything these days. My size 8 shorts arrived and I couldn't even begin to get them on, let alone zipped. I didn't reorder up a size, because I wasn't even sure that would fit. Otherwise they looked like great shorts.

fantastic quality but keep in mind runs 2 maybe 3 sizes small.

Waistline isn't stretchy
Everything about these shorts were best expect the waist. The shoes are stretchy but not the most important part, the waist! It's a snap button so if you get a size that fits you standing, it might pop open if you sit. If you get a size that fits you sitting, they'll be too large when you stand and fall down. I ended up getting a size up and having a tailor take out some material on the sides and replace it with some stretchy fabric.

Too small
Im usually solidly between a 10 and 12, so I bought both. As it turns out, even the 12 is too small. At the same time, I bought a pair of Colombia Saturday trail shorts in 12 and they fit fine. Had to return both pairs of these shorts. They look good and well made...they just dont fit.

Comfortable!
Love the comfort of the material of the shorts. They fit well, all except the waist, which was a little snug.
