Go up a size to fit and love.

Here’s the skinny: Columbia and Real Tree met up in the woods and had a baby. Of course with that DNA, the quality is over-the-top beautiful. The fabric is like a cotton duck - think Carhartt - double stitched in the stress areas and has several accessory pockets so that you are sure to have that heart-stopping shock that you’ve lost the car keys … until you remember that other little pocket below the back pocket, haha. I wear an 8 in most pants, sometimes even a 6. These fit like an 8. I titled this, “Go up a size to fit” because they are 100% cotton and (thank you, Columbia!) they actually have a waist that does not gap at your lower back. However, when you have a waist, you need a longer zipper as they are tight getting over the hips - the opening is a bit of a squeeze. And no, I’m not unusually big in that area, (5’7, 135 lbs). So, YES, buy them! But get a size bigger than your usual. You’ll love watching these grow up and on you.

LOVE but doesn't last

I LOVE these, I got a size 12 so I could launder them brutally and no matter how much they shrank, I would still fit into them loosely. 5' 6", 137#, 40" hip, and I typically am satisfied with a 31 to 32 inch inseam. However you canNOT pull very hard on the belt loops or they'll just rip. So for me, these will not be for heavy work, these will be for when I still need to look like a working woman but am not actually going to be doing heavy labor that day. I will still wear them for walking shelter dogs but rely on my apron for most of my pocketed items. Hope this helps other women decide to try this pant or not -- again - LOVE, but have to be honest about the lack of durability. My husband can get a Wrangler men's pant that's ripstop for $20 at Walmart, but I have to pay $50 to get this NON rip stop pant -- female taxation.

Small waist

Quality is solid, but sizing is odd. I ordered up a size and found them to be too tight in the waist, so I exchanged to go up one more size, and they still feel tight in the waist. But the legs are very baggy. I don’t know who is shaped like this!

Order your regular size

I ordered a size up (6 green) based on reviews, and my regular size just in case (4 red). Regular size fit better, the material is thick and sturdy, so it seems like it'll be good outdoors pants, the waistband is stiff but if you're carrying something heavy it'll stay up better. It fits right around my hips, maybe a little higher, the style is straight/relaxed but not too loose/baggy.

Buen diseño pero la tela muy dura

Como todos los productos Columbia, el diseño es excelente. Muchas bolsas complementarias e ideales. pero en este caso la tela es súper dura. No me resulto ser nada cómoda, lo tuve que devolver, a pesar de que el color y el diseño me habían gustado muchísimo.
