Great out the gate, losing it's favor though
I ordered this for my daughter, who is very rough on sippy cups. She's had the 360° cup and dented it so it leaked. At first, this sippy was AMAZING! It never leaked, it held a great amount for her to sip on through a couple hours. She loves pointing out the decorations on the cup and showing them to me, "tree", "deer", and she loves the colors. I've noticed recently that if the cup is laying in its side, it does dribble out of the straw hole a tiny bit, but it's never really much of a spill. I would definitely buy this product again, though if I recommend it to a friend I will tell them to keep an eye on it.

Best cup for kids!
It’s definitely spill proof. Only a droplet or two comes out if dropped hard, but otherwise my 1.5 year old is able to handle it and I don’t have to worry about spills. The straw is hard to clean but I have the straw brushes to clean them so I don’t have any issues with that. I absolutely love this! Buying one for my nephew too!

Too Much Glue
The cup itself is amazing!!!! It is doesn't spill, can be taken anywhere, is dishwasher safe. Everything about the cup is great. That being said--they used so much glue on the sides to hold the "tag" on, that soaking it overnight in Dawn didn't even work. I had to use goop be gone, and a scraper to get off the glue off, and in doing so I took the picture off the cup. :(

Spill proof
My two year old has put this cup to the test and it has not disappointed. I have yet to see any spill out of it and she definitely has tested the theory a few times.

Great leakproof straw cup
These straw cups are great because they don’t leak and the kid can’t pull the straw out every five seconds. The only downside is that you have to remember to take apart the straw, which screws apart, to make sure you don’t get any nasty stuff growing.

ACTUALLY spill proof
This is THE only leak proof cup. We’ve tried every kind of cup with my baby, now toddler, for almost a year (Nuby, 360, Camelbak, etc). They all claim to be “spill proof” and they’re all liars. While at Target I was browsing the cup aisle considering buying yet another cup in hopes of finding something practical for my kid when my husband randomly picked up this Contigo straw cup and pointed out the spill proof label. I rolled my eyes completely unconvinced but humored him and bought it. To my ecstatic surprise it totally works! Aside from a drop here or there from whatever is left in the straw after sipping, I’m no longer finding puddles of milk on the floor. My girl shakes this cup upside down and throws it all over the place and there is no mess. I’ve noticed some comments about the small rubber piece under the lid being impossible to clean - it is not impossible but it is a little difficult, so that’s the only downside to this cup but not a deal breaker for me at all. I’ve been able to get under the edge with my finger nail and just rub around the inside to get it clean. Haven’t had any mold issues. I just bought a second one so now we can have a strictly water cup and a milk cup. Worth every penny.

Unless you were shaking this when it is upside down, this cup is not going to leak. Of all the cops out there this one is truly spill proof. The Camelbacks, the Hydro flasks, etc. all claim to be spill proof but are not. The engineering behind this for a toddler cup is pretty much what i love about it. The look and feel of it is great too, I love how the top part is that hard plastic because it does make it a lot easier for my little kids to grip, and it's an easy cup to travel with.
