Using this makes me feel so zen! It was a splurge, but it was a great add to my self care arsenal. The striker area works well and I feel like lightning candles is such a treat now. You will need four inch or longer matches.

My wife bought thus for me for Christmas and I love it! We filled it with the long strike anywhere matches and it works well. It is super cool.

Good coffee table styling tool

I use these for my clients. Its larger than you would think, so you need to order 3' or 4' matches. I usually get black matches or black headed matches to pair with it. An earthy blue/green/gray color.

Amazing

I absolutely love this thing. It’s a lot taller than it appears though so if you want to use the top to hold matches you will need longer than standard ones. I use the top area as a disposal container for used matches and have a separate holder for new matches. The striking area works for my “designer” safety matches that aren’t strike anywhere so that’s a definite plus for me. Would buy this again in a heartbeat. The quality of the ceramic and glaze is very nice also.
