Nice little feature, but texture is inconsistent.

The texture on the plastic of these is inconsistent. When they're installed it's difficult to notice from the ground. Still, these add a nice little touch to an otherwise boring can light.

Simplicy and Style

This is a simple metal ring that fits inside the Cree brand lights. It simply snaps in or snaps out if you want to remove one. When the light is one it's presence helps to more sharply redirect the light and when the light is on it it gives a slight glow or soft almost invisible color. When the light is off it gives the light a more eleganat look and certainly is worth $3-5 each for the upgrade. I would certainly purchase again. Cree products are well designed and more user frindly for installation than many other products - that extends to the light fixtures that these Cree 6 Retrofit Downlight Decorative Trim rings are used in.
