Leaves my baby hair soft

I’m fairly new to this combing hair thing and I’ve tried a few other products on both of my sons’ hair. They have two different textures. My 3 year old’s hair (pictured) needs a lot of moisture. I’ve tried their other products (Curl it’s a curl leave in conditioner) but when it was out of stock I figured I’d try this. I also wasn’t really that satisfied with that product but it was ok and I’m a creature of habit so didn’t change products. This product didn’t disappoint!. It made my sons hair soft and his twists look refreshed. I also bought the spray and another light weight moisturizer for my other sons hair which I haven’t used it, but looking forward to it. First time using it and I love it so far!

Great for all hair!

This is the best stuff out there for any hair! I bought this for my grand daughter, to use in her hair. She is biracial and her hair is thick, coarse, and has ringlet curls. This stuff is amazing! I apply it to my finger tips, run it down pieces of her hair and wrap the hair around my index finger. The curls come out beautiful, and NO FRIZZY ends. This cream smells delicious and gives hair a beautiful shine with bounce. I love it! I am Caucasian, with very thick and coarse hair. I used it on my hair and the results were beyond belief. My hair felt like I had been to one of those ritzy salons. It can be used for all hair types, but I think it works really great on thick, coarse, curly hair. My hair has a natural wave and it did wonders. I have always ordered this product from the website, Curly Q's, but saw it on Amazon and decided to get it from here. Amazon is my only way of shopping so this worked out in my favor. Great product!

Product for us was so - so

Decent product not sure if it’s a perfect product for my daughter . Her curls are fine and loose and I absolutely do not like the smell . My daughter thinks of it as frosting for cakes but it reminds me of cocoa butter and shea butter which I don’t like . Other than that try the product if you have curls or just want a shiny finish smooth look to your hair styles . Container arrived a bit dirty but due to covid I cleaned it anyways with wipes .

I think i found a winner

My almost 2 year old daughter is half black and other half is Caucasian and Filipino. I have tried multiple (mostly organic) products on her super curly, dry- and finally starting to grow longer- hair. After just two uses i can tell that this product has by far made the biggest stand alone difference in her hair. I use it like a leave in conditioner and it keeps her curls tight and frizz free even into the next 1-2 days. I might just need to spruce her day old curls up with a lighter product like curly q's detangler moisturizer spray or Its a Curl leave in curl cream, but its nowhere how it used to be, where overnight we're back to ground zero again. You dont have to use a whole lot of product either

Solid product

I bought this for my 11 yr old daughter her curly hair has been very frizzy lately she really likes it so far. Helps better than gels and mousses. I might try the other products too. I also used it on my hair which is curly and really like the softness and helps with frizzies and my hair is turning grey so also with courseness it helps a lot

Great Product, Help Managed Super Curly Hair

Great product for our little one. We have a Biracial daughter German and African American, we have been trying different products (Child Safe) to manage her hair since she was born. She has extremely curly hair, but it also has a tendency to dry out and get fuzzy. We tried Curly Qs, and we have been really proud with it. It manages to keep her hair most and curly as much as possible throughout the day. We were using mixed chicks product, but as she grew older and her hair texture changed the product became less effective, we were also not very comfortable with the chemicals and products in mixed chicks, but with Curly Q the majority of the product are fruit extracts, oils and limited chemicals.

Smells delicious! I'd like this product but like it better if I add another product with it it doesn't give the hair that Shine that you're looking for however it does keep the curl in your baby hair if you use too much of it it shows a residue

Received used product/update after replacement

The produced was used and just received it dirty with some hair on it? Thats disgusting. For a price of £12.99 can not even try it as its totally not hygienic. *** Update, received a replacement which was clean and been able to test the product on my daughter that has mix hair, must say i really liked it. Dont need to put too much and the hair comb very smoothly. I will order again. The only issue is that there is no seal, product is wrapped in foil but once you take it off there is no other protection.

Tames even the most unmanageable curls!!

Curly Q Custard: Excellent product for making thick, curly, kinky hair really manageable.Tames the most unmanageable curls and is great on long or short hair. Naturally elongates curls and giving great curl definition, while at the same time adding much needed moisture to hair that can have a tendency to dry out easily. You don't need too much as little goes a very long way and it doesn’t weight down the hair. It contains organic ingredients e.g. sunflower oil, almond oil, and jojoba oil as well as Shea and mango butter has a lovely light lovely coconut scent. For years you could only get Curly Q products in the USA so it's wonderful that their products are now over here.

Good hold but awful smell and feel

Even though this is meant for children I wanted to give this a go. I have type 3a, thick, asian hair. This product did stop my hair from frizzing and gave my curls good definition. It also weighed my curls down so I didn't get a "triangle head". However the smell was awful and the feel of the product in my hair was not pleasant.

This smells nice and is easy to apply

Lovely for my daughters hair, but it is a little oily. There are so many different types of mixed race hair that it is difficult to know what to use, I am currently working through a number of brands. This smells nice and is easy to apply, but very heavy on my daughters hair.

Helps with the frizz

Really makes a difference to my little girls curly hair. Stops the frizz and smells lovely! Lasts for a long time too. Would recommend.
