Won't fit 1/4" x 1/4"
Seems to be of decent quality but wouldn't work for my application. The listing states it'll fit a .26" square stem, and it might. I thought close enough. But, it's way too loose on the .25" square stem on my hose bib. This isn't a product issue. Just wanted anyone else that thought it was close enough, to know it won't work for a .24" square stem.

Does not fit all spigots
The quality was excellent but make sure you need a spare hole. It obviously does not work on a round head.

Got this for a hose that didn't have a spigot Easy to install and works great Just to note - The loop to anchor standard hose bib covers to the hose for the winter will not fit over this spigot - I was able to still use mine, but had to put the loop over the hose opening itself instead of on the handle.

Works well and is sturdy, but didn't come with all the necessary screws
So this came with a few different types of screws. I had to use the included extension adapter to get this to fit on my spigot. Because of the adapter, the only screw that fit into my spigot wasn't long enough. I had to take the screw to the home improvement store and buy a longer version of it. After I got the right length screw, however, the knob worked perfectly. Its actually a nice solid knob and doesn't feel cheap at all. Much higher quality than the ones I'd seen available at the home improvement stores. Also, because it included the adapter, it fit on my ancient spigot (original one on the house from 1963). The knobs available at local stores had no such adapter and would not have worked. Pretty happy with the purchase just wish it had come with a long screw that had the right thread type.

Replacement for identical handle
I purchased this Danco Outdoor Faucet Water Spigot Handle to replace another handle just like it! The original handle has been on my well house faucet for 19 years, until the "adapter" (the cylinder that fits between the handle and the hose bib) stripped out from the hose bib stem. I'm hoping this one doesn't do the same, but $6 over 19 years isn't too bad. The handle and adapter are metal (some reviews said it was plastic) and seems to be constructed out of zinc or aluminum, which is a softer metal and probably will wear out......especially if you have to "crank down" on the handle each time you shut off your hose bib completely! But, better the adapter strip out than the hose bib stem! It was installed in about 2 minutes. It comes packaged in plastic and cardboard. Hope I'm happy for another 19 years!

Bigger than expected, but installed like a charm!
Used to replace two shut off knobs going to the washing machine as they were literally crumbling apart and couldn't turn them. They were bigger than I expected, but they did fit and install easily. The fact they are bigger gives extra grip and the valves shut off without any issues.
