Solid Cover, but cheap drain plug.
This cover is exactly what I was looking for, but sadly the new drain plug was very cheaply made and broke mid installation.... thankfully I had a 150 tool to cut slits into it, so I could remove it.

Easy Fix!
This replacement part for the bathtub drain that had corroded and started to leak was exactly what was needed for an inexpensive, easy repair job. No need for a plumber to repair the tub drain and so easy for do-it-yourselfers. Having the extra insert for either a 1.5" or a 1-7/8" drain was just what was needed. Excellent installation instructions. Definitely recommend this product.

Drain cover is thin garbage
The trip lever works great. The drain cover is so thin it bend when you screw it in. Complete garbage. I will have to buy a different one in the future. It is barely even metal.

Spring wasn't strong enough
Looks pretty. Easy to install. Only problem is, the spring isn't enough to counteract my drain plug's weight, apparently. I pulled the spring tighter and attached a zip-tie to the shaft to strengthen the screw, worked like a charm.

Glad to find a fit for our old tub - ...
Glad to find a fit for our old tub - the overflow trim was a little small from the old one, so there is still some staining to scrub even more, but the latch is solid. The cover plate also is nice to keep the hair at bay. However, it has more to do with the install job on the tub (and me doing this alone), but the drain is a little wobbled instead of level, so water will sit around one side. Also, since the drain cover comes up, it's pretty much going to leave a little water around the drain to air dry anyway. Would definitely buy again.

Looks great
Bought this to update our master bath shower from the 90's chrome look. Very easy to install, great price, looks really great. I did not use the plastic PVC pare of the drain, just the brushed nickle strainer. I did not want to try and remove the 23 year old one and chance cracking my drain pipe. Only problem with doing that is the screw to hold it in place is not quite long enough. No big deal as it fits snugly. So all in all a great way to update your shower.
