The media could not be loaded. I just installed this unit today and thought I would post my experience. This is a solid faucet. The construction is all metal minus the pop-up drain handle; that is plastic. The installation went fairly smooth. I have a 3-hole 4" spread vanity top so i used the INCLUDED escutcheon to cover the outside holes. Directions included with the faucet are easy to understand for novice do-it-yourselfers. One hooked up, I experienced no leaks out of the handle (which is also metal) and the movement from hot to cold to off is very smooth. The reason it did not receive a solid five stars is due to the fact the unit was shipped with dirt/sand/debris caught in the flow restrictor. I flushed both water lines for 3 minutes before hooking up the water lines to the faucet so I know this was not a result of dirty supply lines. I had to remove the handle and all of the guts per the troubleshooting instructions and remove the debris. Upon removing the debris, I reinstalled all the components back to factory specs and the water flow improved SLIGHTLY. It was still not sufficient for regular use, essentially a little more than a trickle. I removed all the pieces and eliminated the flow restrictor all together. This solved the problem completely. I recommend this faucet if you appreciate fine finishes but just be aware of the issue I had.. You may need to do the same technique to achieve sufficient water flow.

Faucet looks good. Really fit the style of the bathroom. A bit hard to keep clean, but not a big issue. Installation was a snap. Had it for over a year and it's still working properly. That was the good stuff. Now the bad part. Even with everything inside it clean and the water flowing as it should, the low water flow amount causes a problem. The flow amount really isn't enough to move the water through the drains P-trap with enough force keep the trap somewhat clean. This causes organic material to build up on the sink side of the trap. After a while we get a sewer smell coming from the drain. Tried replacing the P-trap with a shallower U-bend, but that didn't do it. Now we just occasionally pour some bleach down and let it sit, that usually helps with the smell for a little while. Every few months or so, the trap has to be removed and cleaned out.

Beautiful Faucet!

The finish is what you'd expect from Delta. The fit was perfect. The water flow is just right for a vanity sink waterfall. There are less expensive waterfall faucets out there, but I'm not a big fan of buying off-brand plumbing fixtures or anything to do with water. Cut corner other places, not on lighting or plumbing fixtures. Note: this model does not have the pull-up drain control. It's meant for a pop-up drain, which is our application.

Simply Beautiful!

I purchased the Delta Ara Collection of faucets and accessories for our master bathroom remodel and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. The attention to detail, the weight, quality, shine and functionality of this faucet is great! This very nicely complements the Delta Ara Roman Tub Faucet which we installed in the bathroom as well.

Nice faucet, but ...

The media could not be loaded. The quality of the faucet itself is fine and I love the design. However, from the getgo, water flow was just a trickle. And this had nothing to do with the ecofriendliness of the faucet. Delta’s own manufacturer video shows a nice flow of water from the faucet. My faucet had only a trickle, so that the flow of water wasn’t even flowing out at an arc but was trickle straight down. My husband removed the parts to get to the flow restrictor as suggested by another reviewer. Removing the restrictor only made the flow too strong so that water came out from edges of the spout as well. So we ended up putting it back. However, the flow restrictor and additional parts were full of these black deposits. So we cleaned them out and put each part back. Water flow is better now than the original trickle, but it is still not the flow depicted in Delta’s product video. For the money we spent on this faucet, this is definitely a disappointing characteristic.

Looks nice but arrived with broken part

The faucet is very nice looking, however, one of the faucets I ordered arrived with the pop up handle broken. I called Delta and they're sending a replacement part, but the plumber will now have to make a second visit and it will cost me most of the money I saved by buying on Amazon.
