Cracks appearing after 4 months

We bought the Leaping Sea Dolphin on June 27, 2018. On Oct 27, 2018 we noticed a few cracks had developed, one of which is deeper than just a "surface crack." I just spoke with the mfgr and was advised the warranty is only 60 days! The object is placed on a ledge about 2' above the water level of our (caged)salt water pool in Bradenton, FL. I mistakenly assumed the life expectancy would be over 4 months for a $250+ item. It is quite attractive, however it's a lot of money for something that has such a short life expectancy. Neither mfgr nor Amazon could / would help with refund or replacement. I will update this review if Amazon is able to help resolve the matter.
