Great Item

This is nice, a little on the heavy side, very detailed, colorful, and true to size. Bought this for my hall bathroom makeover and made a great choice in picking this up. It is large, 3-D, very well detailed and gets your attention. It is beautiful. Looking at this item on google most people that had it was outdoors around pools. I used it indoors and decorated the whole area around it. It’s also sexy.

My Mermaid

I love my mermaid, but the paint work was not great. So like one of the other reviewers, I got out my paints and added some touches to it. I placed it in my bathroom on the tile wall behind the bath tub. I didn't want to drill holes in my tile so I used Velcro picture hanging strips that are removable. She seems to be fine resting on the tile underneath her and Velcro behind.

Gorgeous

I adore this mermaid. She is the centerpiece of my "enchantment under the sea" display on my patio. Guests all say how gorgeous she is. The colors are vibrant (I sprayed her with a clear acrylic to preserve the colors), and the design is reminiscent of a beautiful reef. I would give this as a gift with no hesitation. One word of caution- she is a bit heavy and the screw that came with it seemed too short, so I used a longer one.

Beautiful beachy addition, few paint chips

Just received my mermaid in the mail. She goes absolutely perfect with the beach decor in my new house. She currently resides on my mantel until I can properly mount her. I got an awesome deal because the box was damaged. The only flaw I noticed is a few areas of chipped paint. I'm gonna follow along with what other reviewers said and try to touch up those areas. But overall in great condition and a beautiful addition to my home.

Beautiful, serene sculpture

The mermaid was beautiful. And although made in that plaster type material was very well painted and the person doing was very artistic. Don't know if that will be the case every time. You can't bang these things around though as they will chip or the paint scratch on it so be careful. I have it hanging in our guest bathroom and it adds a beautiful look to the bathroom.

Impressive

Unlike many buyers, we hung this mermaid in our master bedroom. We have a beachy theme. It is a large, impressive sculpture. The colors were exactly as pictured online. I purchased it through Amazon warehouse and only paid $38! There was no damage to the mermaid. It must have been a return, but I saved a lot of money. I love it.

Beautiful mermaid Xmas present

Was very pleased with this purchase. Bought it as a Xmas gift for my girlfriend to put in our lake house by Lake Mead. She instantly fell in love with it. It was shipped very securely wrapped and had no damage. The colors were fantastic. Have purchased Toscano products before and have always been happy with them.

Very nice coastal display

Good size toscano wall display. The art work and attention to detail are Very typical of toscano works as always. My wife enjoys it on our screen porch after finally getting it back together after hurricane Michael.

Stunning wall sculpture

I have mounted this inside as it's so stunningly beautiful I wanted it inside. The colours on the mermaid are vibrant and the details on the piece are lovely: there are little fish swimming around her and an open shell with a pearl nestling in it. Like other pieces I have bought it came very well packaged. The mermaid was in a thin plastic bag to minimised shedding from the protective polystyrene blocks that surrounded her. You will still need to dust off some small flecks of polystyrene but she is well worth it. A stunningly detailed and beautiful piece, there is a hole in the back for easy mounting on a hook, she was up on the wall in minutes. If you love mermaids or mythical creatures you'll enjoy owning this unusual piece. Photos added for those who want to see a more detailed view.
